Chris, I kind've dropped off the face of the earth and had to separate myself from a lot. Life was pretty rough for awhile. Nothing compared to what you and your family has been through. I think about Pam everday. She was a very dear friend. I work next to the Sheraton in Towson and am reminded of how Pam used to work there. I am terribly sorry for your losses. You're Mom was one of the sweetest individuals that I've ever known. Please, when you see your Dad, give him a huge "bear" hug for me and tell him that he is in my prayers. Take care of yourself, Jenn<quoted text>
I'm sorry we couldn't find you to tell you about Pam when it happened. I didn't even know where to start and when Stacie or Darin didn't know how, I was at a loss as to where to start. I am sorry you had to find out the way you did. It was a shock and then to lose my mom 3 months later. She never cried or talked about it. I believe she gave up her fight with cancer because of a broken heart. My dad is having a hard time -losing both of them the way we did. The whole thing is like a bad dream. The memorial for Pam was really nice. The people she worked with and for couldn't have done or said anything better. She was very well liked and respected at work. In fact after she was gone, her boss commented that it took 3 of them to do her job. Anyway, I'm sorry about how you found out, but I am glad someone finally found you. Dave came up for the memorial - he was a mess. Too bad they couldn't have worked out their problems, maybe she would still be here. Take care! Chris

It has been almost a year, and it still hurts and feels like yesterday. Hopefully 2008 will be a whole lot better, and less sad. Mr. Stokes got the maximum - 33 years. With any luck he won't see the light of day until then.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

A more gentle and life loving soul would be difficult to find. Pam was bursting with life. Caring and trusting to a fault.
For all her quirks, she was never hurtful in her heart to anyone.
She wasn't deserving of her fate and I guess that's what disturbs me most.
I've lost many, many friends for my age, but as I was told recently, I must remember that I'm lucky to have had the chance and good luck to have met and befriended so many good people.
I feel like the richest man in the world because I have my family and a family of true friends, also.
Having said all that,I still can't get her off my mind. The sense of loss is still so potent.
And the loss itself, so senseless.
God bless you, Pam. And have a crab cake ready when I get there, would ya, huh?
May the love of God caress your lips as
you sleep and embrace you gently when this life is over.

Actually, he knew exactly what he was doing, and knew exactly what he did. You may not think he is a punk, but he IS a MURDERER.
