There is no way that man could have made the kind of money he makes from that small grocery store. No way. If money talked that loud, old Al Capone wouldn't have seen the inside of Alcatraz for Tax Evasion. They ain't enough food stamps nor credit people. Use your heads. Never thought June was that smart though. Wonder who is? Untelling.

So you do not think a store that is open 13 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year and stays as busy as that one, makes money ? Junior has operated that store for over 30 years. He should have money based on that and he got it the old fashioned way...he WORKED for it.
He is not the only store merchant with money, Remember Earl Harding ? L.R. Trent ? Jimmy and Andy Barnard ? Hubert and Pearl ? Hugh Johns ? I suppose you think all of them were crooks too....or maybe you are too young to remember them. They were all store owners, they all worked long hours, they all operated busy stores and they all had money, why ? because they earned it.

Thank you for your insight, sometimes one wonders if there are any sensible people left in Sneedville. And no I'm not a relative, just an ordinary citizen.

Thanks ! I am not kin to him either, just someone who hates to see a man who is still working past his 80th birthday trashed for being successful.
If our government has so much time on their hands that they need to raid a country store owned by an old man because he liked to trade guns, I suggest they focus their energy on raiding the "independant pharmacies" that exist in every community in this County instead. Those are run by folks who would not work in a pie factory, break the law many times a day, cause great harm to families, defraud government programs to get their inventory, and yet I never see crime scene tape surrounding any of them.

thats a joke,, If he was so successful, and on the up and up, he wouldn't have had all those guns from the addicts now would he? and he wouldn't have been running credit for gas, cigs, and getting paid with food stamps.. A real stand up guy!! hell half the dealers sat right there and did their biz too.

Hey OT, I never seen any of the other people you mentioned work 365 seven days a week and no they did not have dealers in the parking lot or did they have an arsenal stored up from junkies. They did not do lots of things the ATF got this dude for so he must have earned that too.

How is that running some man down? He didn't have to sell a gun to a TBI officer. The others you mentioned sure didn't.

I can tell from your comments that I could put what you know about this situation in my eye and never blink !
An arsenal stored up from junkies ??? Now THAT is funny. Selling to a TBI officer ??? another joke !!! And as far as junkies hanging around.....did you ever have business at the County Courthouse ? The Courthouse and yard are overrun with them. I suppose you think all the County Officials are complicit in that too. You certainly picked the right name to post with.
