Bar at center of Sneads controversy moves

The Landing Bar and Grille in Sneads had its last call Saturday. The owners have relocated the bar across the river, in response to months of controversy and issues with the town and some residents.

I really hate that the Landing had to move the bar from Sneads. I have been to the Landing about 4 times in the past year. I found this place fun and loved being able to enjoy the music of one of my favorite bands. We (about 16 people, all from out of state) traveled to The Landing the weekend before Christmas. The whole entire staff and people there were very receptive and supportive of my son's return from afghanistan. I am very appreciative to all of them. I will continue to come to The Landing regardless whether it is in Sneads or Chattahoochee. I just feel that it is Sneads loss.
