My thoughts exactly, I just cannot understand why they still have our schools open! They call school our for less! I am just here to say that my children will not return to school until this matter is completely taken care of.

That is exactly what I wanted to say. I didn't know anything about this until my friend called tis morning.I get the automatic call for cookie sale but not for this.My kid says there was no body/backpack check as to enter school. The shcool said it is well secured with police officers but what if guns were hidden in a backpack and brought in by a student?

When this person is finally apprehended, there needs to be a public example made of them. If they are under legal age, then make an example of the parents or gaurdians. These problems with young people today will only continue to worsen until corporal punishment is re-instated and parents and teachers have the freedom of disciplining children without the thought of going to jail or losing their jobs.

who cares if the student is under age if they are big enough to make threats like that they should be big enought to accept the punishment that goes with it. The parents should have to take the heat for something their teenager did.

It's not a student. It's not even anyone in the U.S. the threat was from a fictitious Facebook account that as of now goes back to an area of Amsterdam. This will never be cleared up like you all are looking for. If it was a kid locally then he/she would have been picked up locally. I actually received a recorded call yesterday from bobby cox talking about the situation as well. If you didn't get a call then you need to get your correct phone number on file with the school system. As far as backpack searches, they were done only at the high school where the threat was made against. Somebody is getting off on the school shootings in the country and having some sick twisted fun with it. Basically cyber bullying you and your kids right now.

I seen the guys page before it was taken down. In the bottom left corner it said "Facebook UK" therefor telling me that he wasn't even in the US. Also, saying he was going to take his "motor to the school" who here says motor instead of car or truck? He never mentioned what school, nor did he say where he was. Everything that you could view on his page was from other countries. The memorial page that he commented on, people thought he must be from here because he knew so much about the girl. Anyone can read the memorial page and learn a lot about her.
It's called mass hysteria. Someone seen that he "knew so much about her" and since she went to WCHS they assumed that it was the school he was referring to. So they told someone who told someone else who kept telling everyone else freaking everyone out. If people would have took the time to set back and look, and see for themselves, they would have noticed too.
I guess it's like the commercial says "if its on the Internet it has to be true".

Yep, I was right. 24 year old Reece Elliott from South Shields in Britain is the one who posted.

Threats of violence are not to be tolerated, by youth or adults like Commissioner Ron Lee. What does it teach our youth when an elected official is allowed to so brazenly threaten violence on a citizen.. They youth learn from us. The youth should stand against the adults who do such. So dishonable to teach one thing and then publicly spit on our own teachings. That's low for elected officials but the public has come accustom to it from politicians. I'm doing what I can to stand against that happening to me and other citizens. Thank you all. School yard bullies have to be held accountable. When your a grown up, that's done in court....or Federal Court in this instance. Thank you all.
