This past year. I posted this all months ago on here, but some thought I was making it up. Rims were taken off a car an left on cinder blocks two weeks ago in parking lot. Look at previous posts, I stated it all rather well months ago. You get what you pay for. Sooner or later someone will get shot in that plant.

Sorry Nissyates the rims were not stolen the got repossessed. Security let the owners come in & get the rims for non-payment but everything else is true from what everyone else has been saying!!

YAKES is very prejudice from the comments made I work around white people that are thugs ad well but you don't hear me downgrading white folks. A lot of these human beings are just young & not use to hard work yet but from where I'm standing they try & if given the chance might someday make offline or area management material. You can't change everyone but some is better than none & for Mr Yakes open your heart & quit thinking every black person is a thug. Have a great day!!!!

When did all this occur?
This was last Summer-Fall (2012) when this occurred. They had to make a rule to keep people from wearing hoods in the plant because the suspects were wearing hoods. There are always liquor bottles in the parking in lot. Animals...

Dude I remember that video. She was pissed. "You wouldn't treat your home or your church that way" she said. And I'm thinking to myself "they live in filth and they don't go to church."

She isn't pissed taking money from having them in there though. Pay them peanuts is upper management's motto. They lowered the standards, the mess is on her an the rest of upper mmanagement's hands on the thugs they hire.

I applied and took a drug test the same day. Now I got a three day training class to go to before being hired

I hope you aren't driving from Gainsboro. Although I know work is tough to find these days.

Three day training? LOL, no wonder people quit. Your real training will be on shop floor. I have two newbies on my line have been there almost three months an still are getting trained. They cannot do the jobs.

They told us in the training that we had to finish each fixture in a certain amount of time and that we had to pass all 4. Do y'all think their just saying that or they that strict?

It's true. You have to make the time to get hired.

I completed the weekend no pay training on March 09 2013. I was told that I received the fastest times in my group (which gave me high hopes for getting hired) but today is April 2, 2013 and I haven't heard anything from them! Any words of advice or a phone number I could call to get a hold of anyone? Thanks :)

Congrats being their fastest monkey lol jk. It wont help you get on quicker. It's all about the orientation cycle (1 week), HR and zone needs. I was fast too but I had to wait 2 months. Other people I was hired with were called the day after the training. You never know. Best of luck. I hope you like it.

Did I actually get the job though or is there still that chance ill never get the call? Wondering if I should look for a different job! Was putting it off once I started training, I heard this was a good place to with and was pretty excited about it!

It is no guarantee of a job. But they will eventually get around to calling you one they need people and are ready to train them. You don't have the job until they call you so it's a good idea to keep looking. Best of Luck

Can you work over time all you want? Or do they not offer it?

You will get some over time. But you will have no choice when or when not to work. You will be an animal that shows up to perform your tricks on command. There is no flexibility. You will also have NO idea when they will let you go home until they decide. You are a robot.

I hope you like mindless rap music and smelly ignorant people. I also hope you don't ever expect to work directly for Nissan because you wont. Yates employees are for life. Any exceptions you hear about are just that. Exceptions and they aren't line workers. It's honest work and it helped while I was in between jobs in my field. But no crossing over. No hope to make over 18.50 in your whole life. You are all expendable because there is another guy with the same goofy neck tats and DUI's right behind you ready to take your place.
