How do you go about getting a job at Nissan?
The building being referred to will be a distribution center for empty containers for Nissan. Propak Logistics will be moving into the building in Sept.- Oct. 2013 and will be operating from there to receive and distribute empty part containers from Nissan to the suppliers. Currently Propak Logistics has been using Labor Ready Temporary Agency to staff any open positions with temp to hire laborers. There is also a chance to be hired directly through Propak by filling out online. To actually get hired on at the Nissan plant is near impossible. You must go through Yates temporary service, Kelly Temporary Services, or one of the others that Nissan Contracts with. Usually they will work the snot out of you until you begin to question when you will get hired permanently (6- 12 months) and then when you begin to question it you will get a call that you are no longer needed. Nissan is trying to cut cost so as not to have to pay insurance, 401K, and retirements as they have in the past. By 2015 Nissan will be mostly temp workers and not have many full employees left. Not to mention they problems that come from working long term on a high production line. Best bet is to get in a company that works for Nissan supplying parts or etc...
