I was wondering if anybody knows anything about Fritz. I've heard several different versions of the story. I've heard it was a hit and run, a beating, that they found him behind the armory, on hwy 160, behind McDonalds @ his camp. Does anybody know anything about this? It's a terrible thing. He was nice guy, he never hurt anybody. Plus, he was a vietnam war veteran. I bet the people that beat him up or hit him didn't know that. I would personally like to see justice served in this matter.

You probably have found what you wanted to know by now. He was a nice guy and he never bothered anyone. I have lived in this area almost my whole life and I pretty much saw him everyday walking down the road. He also had a little camp thing under the warrior/kimberly overpass. All I have heard is that it was supposedly a hit and run and they think that becuz both arms and both legs were broken and his injuries had to have been caused by more than a beating. When I get more info I will post it.

I will know more this evening when I talk to my boyfriends grandmother cuz she knows. All I know now is he was found in warrior behind the mcdonalds on canecreek road not on hwy 160 (there isn't a mcdonalds in hayden). He was supposedly in "desert storm" back in his day. He was like 50 or 60 years old. I wonder how they buried him or cremated him since he has no known family and no insurance or money?

He was a war veteran, therefore his funeral was paid for. I don't think he was in desert storm, not old enough. but He was in the military. He does have known family, my mother graduated high school with him and his sister.

many of you may have heard many rumors of mr. hayes death. frits did have family. frits was a vietnam war veteran and there was no foul play in his death. which means he passed due to natural cause (myocardial infarction)

A Warrior police officer told my husband that Fritz was sleeping in a ditch and a snake crawled in the ditch with him. Fritz evidently tried to fight off the snake and re-injured a leg he had broken in the past and fell. The combination of the snake bite and fall killed Fritz. My husband used to take food and water to him. Frtiz was a gentle man.

fritz did have a family. i have spoken to them so i am sure of it.he was hit by a car not bitten by a snake, i also know this because the investigators went to my neighbors house accusing them of hitting him becasue they were the last to see him.for the record they didnt do it, and yes he had a funeral. he was a sweet man with a big heart and he can now rest in peace in his place in heaven.
