While the people of Monroe County claim to be doing a good thing for all students. I don't believe it is in the best intrest of all students. In fact, it is harmful to the youngest group who are been asked to move and adjust at a critical time in their life. Not only that it seems a way to get a privization with public funds. Wonders never cease to amaze. Only time will tell, but I bet tracking is coming back to Monroe County, maybe it never left.

HAS ANYONE THOUGHT OF THE COST? KEEPING STUDENTS ON THE ROAD at todays gas prices is not going to be cheap. What about the fact that you are taling the best and brightest students off campus and leaving the vocational students behind so that they are not challenged to higher achievement. Then all activities are after school, some students that live out in the county will not get home till 5:00pm. Seems like a lot of stress placed on a young person that would benefit more from family and friends.
