L.I. Town Considers Billing Homeowners for Sidewalk Repairs
The sidewalk in front of Stanley Rudman's Nesconset home is showing its age -- but the guy who has lived here since 1967 makes no bones about who should pay for repairs.

town should pay for it. if they operate like they do here, it is on town property so therefore the town should pay for it. if they kept the repairs up it wouldn't have to cost sky high. I believe ten to fifteen feet is government so they can widen roads pole repairs , etc
