Repeal the Controlled Substances Act and all similar legislation. These drugs, contrary to all of the propaganda against them, improve the quality of life for human beings and should be readily available for all who benefit from them and harm reduction measures should be adopted. Drugs liberate human beings from pain and other biological problems and should be used wisely. These are the plants from the Tree of Life and they are Holy substances. I mean, for example, cannabis, opium, coca, psilocybin, peyote, etc. .

The tree or staff of life hangs between your legs. The Holy Substance is what you stick the staff of life

Now that's just uncalled for. Yes the person is a dumbass but really just because dupo has its fair share of stupid doesn't mean we are all the same.

well..
a friend from the columbia boards askedme to take a look at this one..
i read the comments..
you all can spit back and forth whether a person is a junkie or not with the vicodin..
i say this..
it seems apparent that the pills were STOLEN from a house..
that in itself is a criminal act!!
if someone really has a medical condition..they can go get their own script for their own doctor..
there is no doubt in my mind that the wanker that STOLE these pills was some pos that this world could do without..

The original comment wasn't about the lowlife dirtbag dopehead thief, they were casting aspersions at both the complainant AND their doctor. Gotta be pretty stupid not to get that. Guess your friends faith in you was pretty much misplaced. Maybe read it again when the vicidin wears off.

Why do people in severe pain sell their pills then. there are many people in this area who brag about buying them. You'd think if they were hurting so bad they wouldn't let them go for any price.
To answer your question... there are "medical facilities" called pain management clinics that are basically legal ways for doctors to fill scripts for narcotics to what they determine as chronic pain patients. Unfortunately, many of the doctors ask the symptoms of the patient and give out these drugs like candy without doing tests to prove they are actually in that much pain. So, if they really don't need them, they are either addicted or selling them.

I take around 200 of the highest dosage vicodin a month for over 2 years now for a specific disorder and there is no end in sight. I also take other medications as well. Your body builds a tolerance to meds over time in cause you didn't know. I have a team of doctors who think it best for me to be on my meds due to the fact that I have no other options. You have no what you're talking abouy

I had a "crushing injury" to my upper torso 19 years ago. When i went to the "hospital" they said there was nothing they could do for me because it was "soft tissue damage". I think they just wanted to get me out the door cause I had NO insurance. My family got me home and I was laid out flat on my back for 45 days. I could not stand the pain of trying to lift my head and body to up right myself so there I laid turning on my side to pizz and schit and my mom and sister took care of me. I took me another three months before i could really do anything by my self. I had to basically learn how to make my "new" body work. You learn "tricks" how to do this via trial and error. If you mess up your body will let you know. I never really stopped hurting. After about ten years they dropped the old "soft tissue" excuse and started the "well its arthritis". They would give me a few pills here and there and I slowly became addicted to the relief the pills provided. After going through that hell for several years of having pills, being out of pills, waiting for the pharm to call with my pills I decided enough was enough! When I would hurt really bad i would take the pills they gave me. They would help for about two hours and them the pain would be back with a vengeance! I could feel myself slipping into addiction. They said to take one to two pills every four to six hours. I did that starting out at one pill. As the returning pain started to come back sooner and stronger I upped it to one and a half. Then the pain got worse and I started taking two.It got to the point that two would only really help with the pain for about an hour. Then the pain would come back and grow stronger and stronger and stronger! Well I had to do something the pills where not working and the docs wanted me to try some stronger stuff. I knew I was becoming addicted! I just stopped on day cold turkey. I was a BIOTCH!! I DTed for what felt like 30 days but it was only four or five. I had it all! Muscle pain, the raging diarrhea, headaches, couldn't sleep. But the worst pain was from my old injuries! They felt like my body was being torn apart! My neck hurt, mt back, my collar bone, my shoulders, my sternum. It was too the point that I felt like I did the day after my initial injury 19 years ago! I rode it out though. I knew and know I can NOT go back to the pills NO MATTER WHAT!! The docs all say they are powerless to help me. I have taken to drinking hard liqueur and smoking weed when it gets really really bad! The weed does help take my mind off the constant pain for a little bit but you can only do that so often. Its not as good as two and a half 7.5's but it is WAY better than that useless Darvoset they try and push off as a "pain pill". The whisky really helps but it is a very LAST resort and I do it at home right before bed to try and make myself pass out and get maybe two to three hours sleep before the pain or the need to move to stop the pain forces me to wake up. Don't get me started on how this all effect my sleep cause I could go on with about three times as much stuff to say about that then I posted here. The bottom line is stfu till you are cornered into a situation you have no control over! Walk a mile in someone else's shoes mofoz! Or just stfu! You might be running your mouth some day and some "drunk" who can't take pain pills might be standing right behind you with a axe handle just waiting to show you what it FEELS like to live with chronic debilitating pain!

I take vicodin every day and have for over 20 years. Went to "pain management" programs, did "bio-feed back". It helped to a point. Tried different pain meds and they didn't work, made me want to sleep all the time, really made me dopy and then I tried vicodin. 1. It made the pain manageable, it did not make me sleepy, dopy,or stupid. It worked. My doctor monitors my pills and I do not have to worry about the pain ruling me. Auto accidents can affect you worse in later years. Do not judge a person because they have to take vicodin or other pain meds. I don't drink or smoke pot to "dull" the pain. 2. Don't judge as one day you may need a pain pill for the pain that makes it hard for you to walk, for you to sleep at night, that makes you want to do anything to stop it, think twice.
