In it's heyday, Chocolate Park was a great venue for live entertainment. Sadly, when the original owner passed on, he willed the place to his son. The closure of Fort Ritchie hurt the business but the fact that management has not done anything to the place in years has not helped any. Seeing the type of clientel that permeated the place over the past couple of years, it's a wonder that this didn't happen earlier. From behind the counter drug deals to underage drinking, the management turned a blind eye and deaf ear to the troubles already on the horizon. Guess the only place to go now for good live entertainment is either in Waynesboro PA or Frederick MD!
