Hi. This has nothing to do with the topic...I have just been trying REALLY hard to find someone in Lumber City who could give us directions to the Old Town Cemetery. I have a relative who was buried there in 1913 and we are almost certain that the tombstone is there (it showed up on the list by Gloria ??? who "walked" the cemetery) but I have no idea how to get there. Do you know anyone who might be able to give us directions? Thanks!

I believe that cemetery was re located above the pool level of the dam constructed in 1963.
Go to Curwensville then turn on 969 towards Bells Landing . Go approx 7 miles past the Lumber City Bridge on the left and turn right to head towards Grampian . You can't miss it. I hope this helps. |
