Don't be fooled. O'Bama put this plan into play in 2011. He just didn't think he'd actually win re-election for it to be on his watch. So now he orchestrates that it is a Republican problem because they won't "compromise" when infact they are accepting cuts but are net getting their revenue raising, i.e. taxes, approved and Dems don't want any cuts but only tax increases.

This is the first good news in a long time. The amount the sequester will take out of the budget is miniscule compared to the size of Federal spending. What it will do is to get the attention of the spendthrifts in Washington.

It has good and bad effects. I, for one, will feel the bad personally.
However, I believe the law of consequences will ripple through local economies and give the nation a severe black eye.
Then, you have to wonder where the hell the rest of the federal budget IS being spent?!

We will all feel the consequences. The Obama Administration will see to that. One of favorite tricks politicians will use when faced with a reduction in revenue is to cut visible programs that affect a lot of people. The amount of the cut that the sequester isn't all that big except in the mind of politicians.
