Looking for more information about Cooper Farms Subdivision...Is it a nice neighborhood? How's the HOA? Are all races and religions accepted in the neighborhood? Please give honest answers.

Hi, Curious!

My family has lived at Cooper Farms for several years. The neighborhood is very friendly and very diverse--people from different countries as well as different races and ages.

The HOA is reasonable as those things go. The rules are not oppressive. I'm not sure who is on the committees now, but we have never had a problem with anything.

Great Location to Raleigh, Durham, RTP via Hwy 264 and 540, good nearby schools, friendly folks. There is no mandatory HOA. Donation dues run about $100 a year. There are two phases completed. Come and visit.

HOA here are horrible bullies. No meetings in 2 years, no ideas who are on the association board and they don't go out of their way to tell you. President quit if that tells you anything. Diverse neighborhood indeed,in crowd who can do as they please and the others who can't.

The CF subdivision HOA cost is 375.00 per year. This pays for the pool/exercise area and upkeep of public areas. The oldest property is about 11 or 12 years. It backs another subdivision Spring Landings. This part is lesser value real estate and not subject to the same rules. There are alot of rules. Only recently were we able to have out buildings for storage. A plan for this must be submitted and approved. I dont' find the neighbors especially friendly, nor are they hostile. Most are working folk with families too busy for much else. The area borders Bullit county. It is not as economically well off as the east end of LOuisiville.
