What does everyone think of the teacher that got arrested for having a sexual relationship with a 14 year old student at Valley?
Who was this child?

Don't know who the child was, but at 14, you can be the child was just as involved at the teacher. It amy have even lead the teacher on. Who knows. Kids at 14 today, get so much information from the TV (like MTV, Nick and such), It would not surprised me that by the age of 12, most of them have already had sex multiple times.

I guess I am going to get labeled now for the above comment. But I will also say that the teacher should serve a lot of time behind bars for doing this. But also look at the child before you really pass judgement. There are some 14 year olds that look, act and dress like they are 20. And that can be blamed straight on the parents.

Stop victim blaming. You made assumptions about a girl you don't know and you certainly aren't qualified to understand the dynamics of an abusive relationship where a person has direct authority over the other. By the way you talk about all the girls and their outfits, it sounds like you want to perv around with them too. Stop making excuses for a sick freak and diminishing the tragedy the victim has gone through.

You DA, I did not blame the victim, I included the victim. A lot of them claim to be victims, when they are not. They start the game, then when something goes wrong, they turn, like a vicious animal. I have seen it several times myself. And before you start on that one, no I was not involved.

As for being a perv, do not let your alligator mouth overload your hummingbird ass. Usually people that make an accusation like this has done it themselves.

You are diminishing the monster's culpability by "including the victim", even hypothetically. You do not know the victim and are putting this venom out here anyways. You are wrong. If you do not know her, how can you say this about her when he freely admits to having abused her? People always say this about girls who are victims of abuse. "Oh she probably led him on." Wrong, the man is a predator. Would you rather girls walk around in burqas, so you do have to have those animal urges pervert?

Read what you said. If he is a predator, he needs maximun punishment up to having his "Dick" removed. Does that satisfy you, you sadistic bitch? I do remember the young girls wallowing all over the male teachers in high school, so I am not defending either one.

And it seems as boiled as you are, you must be a pervert, or even a jealous twit yourself.

I know, I am not a pervert, what about you!

It doesn't matter what she did, she is a child and he was supposed to be a professional educator with many many many years of service. If all of a sudden now he is enticed by a child, then how'd he survive all the years prior? He's the adult, he's to blame period!!!!!!

If your a husband do you use the excuse "Well She Enticed Me"! How well would that go over? We have our own free will and he knows right from wrong and he's educated!

The newspaper stated that this girl was in this teachers home,,He lives in Rand, she lives in Gauley Bridge,She got to his home somehow,,She also had a cell phone that he bought for her and paid for,,If my 14 year old daughter somehow got a new cell phone that had service,, I think as a parent I would look into where she got it,,Just saying where were these parents at this time,,

Now some of the facts are starting to come out. This supposed child is not so damn innocent as "One Angry Bitch" lets on. So she went to his house, that is quite a distance, seems like she knew damn well what she was doing. Also as stated, why wasn't the parents noticing a phone. Oh, they have a life of their own, screw the kid(s). Now, I am not taking up for this man, but look at all sides of the picture before you jump on my ass. I will fire right back.

I can almost guarantee u that this is probably not the first encounter Mr White had w this particular child! One scenario could b, perhaps that he had "followed" her to Valley High so that he could continue to intimadate her into "continuing" an unwanted reunion that he had previously groomed her for from the beginning!
It is an extremely difficult thing to get away from an adult of "power"; and as time goes by....the more they push themselves on us, the more we five up our own freedom and give in to fear, intimidation and aggravation!
I believe this is not a new experience for Mr White; he's an old pro.....as
Most pedophiles....they eventually slip up! Their families and people closest to them will have been the ones that should have spoken up about "non-chalant" things they've seen r heard over the years....but as many old schoolers do; turn a blind eye and hope it stops!
Mr. Masley....please do not further victimize a child by accusations such as these; at least wait and make ure judgment after she testifies!
Her name should NOT BE MENTIONED ON A PUBLIC FORUM UNLESS SHE CHOOSES TO DO SO HERSELF!

A child is a child is a child! Yes, her parents probably should have been more involved; but a victim of sexual abuse feels enough shame, embarrassment and non-trust as it is....they need support!
whatever

I totally agree what happened was awful. But parents today just let their kids go and don't even check on them!!!

The child's name should never be mentioned. She is a minor and protected by the law from such disclosure.

He's been stalking her for years. You don't know what you are talking about. If he's been brainwashing her since they met, him as an adult her as an elementary school student, and he has been trying to get at her since then, he has warped her ability to make informed decisions on a mature level. Have you met Mr. White? He's always been a disgusting old pervert that would leer at students. I went to Gauley Bridge. My friends and I know all about Mr. White. Pedophiles prey on those that are vulnerable and they can influence. Look up the modus operandi for sexual predators. Its about the power they hold over another human being. He must have found something in this girl that made her vulnerable to his attacks. It is not something that happens overnight. Victims go back to their abusers time and again. It is a documented fact. They feel they can't tell anyone, that they will be blamed. Much like you are doing here. Sexual abuse is the only crime where we automatically start telling the victim they should have done things differently.

Most folks, like Mr Masley..have either been or had a family member accused/involved in said situTiom as the perpetrator...maybe guilt...maybe not; or nener been touched by it at all and come from the old school of denial!
In any event, unless they have experienced this abuse as a victim or close family member of one, they are from understanding the influence a pedophile has over the children they abuse. It is indeed a mind/body control (and groomed for sometimes months r yrs) to gain the child's trust and friendship! Then comes, "you will if u love me/care about me", etc
When a victim suffers for so long, and sees no way out of the nightmare...we tend to settle and accept our fate!
Oftentimes gifts, money, etc is a part of the coaxing from a pedophile! So we figure, if we have to continue to suffer...then we will take everything we can get from them! That's our way of making them suffer.
It goes much deeper, Mr Masley, emotionally for the victim than u know!
For Mr White, it's a matter of power, not getting caught and satisfaction; he doesn't care for anyone but himself and his fantasies!

Bev I appreciate your input. I hadn't thought about someone having a policy of automatic denial, but that makes sense. I have heard people talking about this case and it makes me sick. Mr. Masley is not a minority opinion. A lot of people immediately start wondering what the girl wore and say she probably led him on. However, they don't know who the girl is. People make such a hurtful assumption about a little girl. As adults we need to be the voice of reason and protection for children, especially ones who have been victimized. We should be mature enough not to be vehicles of persecution.
