Actually if you follow the order P is first in order. So (1+2) is first in order. Which makes the answer 1.

6/2(1+2).
P first. 1+2=3
6/2*3. Is what you have now.. Multiplication and division have same priority so you go left to right
6/2=3
3*3=9

Wrong! Multiply always before division! Therefore PEMDAS would be PEMorDAS. You tried to say at first 1 and 9 were both right but there can ONLY be 1 right answer as the correct answer is..... 1! Place it in a calculator and you will also find the answer is 1! Thank you have a good night!

No, you are wrong!!! http://www.math.com/school/subject2/lessons/S...
Multiplication is NOT always before division. I also provided another link in a previous comment. I did not say 9 and 1 was right. I sad 9 is right and using PEMDAS is right. Look up order of operations yourself... You will see!!! I proved my answer

Even if you do the multiplication first, since its in parentheses you have up multiply everything outside of it,.. Not just the two.

6/2(1+2)
6/2(3)
18/6
=3. Not 1

But the answer is 9 because this is incorrect.
