As of today there hasn't been many leads and its sad. Its a scary thing to have it happen here. I have been born and raised here where keys are left in cars and your doors unlocked so this has really shook up alot of the town and surround towns in Osborne County. Nobody knew much for hours after it happened so that puts more fears with the citizens because the murderer could have been around town without anyone knowing something that devastating had happened. I knew Scott and he was one hell of a guy. Happy, always smiling and friendly to all was the ideal man and husband. He will be dearly missed. I pray that they catch who did this but am scared they are running out of time for that to happen. Whoever has done this will hopefully come forward because the guilt should be to much. Please keep the whole Noel family in your thoughts and prayers as well as all of Osborne County this is still a shock and everyone is living in fear it seems now. Thanks and thank you to all who are praying for us and the Noel family.

My prayers go out to this entire community and surrounding. Hits too close to home. Why does such a thing have to happen? We think we are safer by living in our small towns and have "secure feeling" by being surrounded by the ones we love, and not the druggies and gangs in larger cities. Again, my thoughts and prayers go out. With sincere sympathy to his wife and children and all who knew him.

Our thoughts & prayers are with the family and the whole community. I don't know the family, but grew up in Cawker City and it is such a sad tragedy.........we hear it everyday in the city, but when it happens in the place you still call "home" even after not living there for almost 20 years, it's too much. May God give you peace and comfort in this difficult time.
