As the holidays quickly approach we are all looking for some great gift ideas. Where does one shop at in Camden and please do not send me to Wal-Mart, that place is just an empty new building with a shiny new location.
Looking for kids clothing, and a few ideas for the husband. I want to keep my money in Camden if possible. |

Try the Garden Oaks Square. A few nice stores and boutiques there. Some are pricy but they will have sales for the holidays.
Or give a gift certificate for nails at Lee's. They do a nice job and not as expensive as the lady at the hair place by the Cardinal. There is also Stage for clothes for the entire family. Merel Normans has cute gift ideas. Oh, I also have sent out baskets from the flower shops in town, they offer other items as well. Or a gift certificate for a family protrait. |

Found some cute kids jewelry sets for under $10 at the lollipop shop at garden oaks.
They also have some cute peace sign rings, and the zebra purses for kids with peace signs. I was in there at lunch time for their lunch special. This week they have an additional 25% off on the sale items that are already marked down. I bought some cute jeans, sweaters, and tops for my two girls. I also bought my baby boy some jeans for $9 and got another 25% off that too. They do have some items that are up higher, but its the new stuff and really not too bad considering what's available in town. Also, it is the only place I have found jeans for babies. Go there Macy |

Careful with the consignment stores in Camden. People in town are trying to sell their old crap at new price listing. You are better going off to wal-mart, stage, or the lollipop shop. They have some great sales right now. You will get better deals in town than at the Camden Consignment Stores. Rediculous over priced, used, and faded items. |

Went to the Lollipop Shop as well and had fun buying my two year old her x-mas outfit when they had the lunch special on the x-mas items last week.
It's a new items for the season, but with the lunch special, I was able to get her the cute red smock dress with deer embroided on at 20% off. If you have not been to the Lunch Special at the Lollipop Shop, it is worth the drop in. Thanks for this weeks tip. I'm going to try and have my mother in-law go out there for me and see what is available on the sales. An extra 25% off is my kind of a happy holiday |

Well, I don't know about jewelry. I have three boys. But I did find some fun stuff for the guys in my home at the feed store on California street.
They have some fun shirts, horse gear, and a few hunting items that the guys needed. Not too much stuff but the M&R Feed and Garden is fun to hang out at. |

MerleNormans has the cutest Razorback gifts. They also have some cute stuffed animals for the kids and sleepwear.
I also love their accessories and makeup. They have great gift ideas there as well. I don't know about the sales they are having. Does anyone know if there is one coming up soon? |

Was there and used my cash coupon on the regular priced items. I needed a new dance outfit for my four year old. The lady that was working there helped me save 50% off on a new silver purse for my daughter as well when she reminded me about how I could use my Christmas coupon. Actually, I think I may give the purse to my neice as a gift. Also saved at Stage on some of the sales they are having right now. But most of the things I bought there were for me! Worth the look! |

I just don't know what to think about our consignment shop in Cardinal Shopping Center. I've taken lots of items for sale there and I think that one of the ladies that works there is not honest. I bought a earring tree and she thought it was a marked down christmas item from last year. I told her that the price that she charged me was not enough and she told me that it was her mistake and to just take it at that price. I told her that it was causing the person that brought it in for sale to lose money on the item. She didn't want to correct the mistake. You're given a clent number when you bring items in for sale and I just feel that this one woman is not honest and gets the credit for some sales and puts the money on her client number. I hope that I'm wrong on this one but feel that I've not made the money that I should have.

i thought the same thing about the consignment store. i took an entire car load (trunk included, all stacked high) of designer clothing in...got about $50 total.

There is no way to keep up with how much they charge for your item and how much they are pocketing. You just go back and pick up your money. A more professional way for them to do it would be to give you a printout of your items and how much and when they sold. Of course this may interfere with their profit method LOL |
