What the heck is going on lately. Teachers having sex with students, school bus drivers not letting a little girl off the bus. What are these people thinking.

There should be a lot of uproar over this. Sadly, thus far, there isn't.

Maybe some day we'll actually care about something like this instead of writing endlessly about things that are far less important.

And in a small Sleepy Eye town no less! The article failed to say what kind of sex they had. I want details... The whole truth and nuthin but the truth before I pass judgment. What was this sl*t doing at the teachers house? The teacher should have his n**s cut off for being such a pig. But I still want to hear details...
Oh come on. If you want details go rent a video from Lickety Split. Better yet, find a woman, preferably of legal age, that will do anything and everything you want. KFAN 1130 AM interviewed a call girl, code name Sparkles, yesterday afternoon. She's a college student. Give her a call.

Teachers do not need more money, it is obvious they make to much
as it is, for every time we read the news paper or listen to the news another teacher has been arrested for having the morals of a junk
yard DOG. They keep pushing for more money for the teachers, when
in reality, what they really need are some lessons on; morals and human decency and how to act in a civilized society. Instead they keep spending money the tax payers are giving them in the form of a salary on fines
for seducing young children. Once they stop praying on young children and stop having to pay the fines they will find out they actually do make enough money, thanks to the tax payers.

I'm not sure I'm ready to say teachers don't need more money, BUT, I am really disappointed with teacher student sex scandals because by now everybody should know they will get caught. Quite frankly, I don't know how or when teachers, both male and female, thought sex with students was okay, but it does have to stop.

It seems to me the greater problem is the Principals. It is their responsibility to "walk the halls," and check up on everybody -- not just the students.

I'd like to personally take your argument and craft it into some form of real public policy action. I think you might be scratching the surface on something better for our kids.

The Red Star has a lot more detail on this. Apparently the school interfered with the police investigation, opting to perform their own "internal investigation" instead. The cops had to get a search warrant to enter the school to investigate. Its this kind of attitude by the school that fosters these kind of things - they need to realize they are not the law. The principal should be hauled off to jail on obstruction charges. And I hope the district has some deep pockets.

Funny the Red Star doesn't allow comments on their story.

I am a retired teacher with daughters who came through the school where I taught. If what we read about this forty something teacher is true, lock him up and throw away the key.(If it were my daughter, locking him up would not sufficient.)

If what we read is not entirely true, he used incredibly poor judgement and should be run out of the education field.

I use to go to Sleepy Eye and I know both a student and the Teacher. The Teacher is a PIG, a Nasty pig! Who has childrend of his own. The Girl is no slut and if you write saying she is...do you honestly know her? No! She's great at sports and plays and singing and band. A very bright student. And what happened to her is very sad. If you want "details" you are sick.
