Examining the mother's behavior with regards to this chemo thing is entirely valid.<quoted text>
Who gives a damn what he thinks? His mother damn near KILLED HIM. His MOTHER made him afraid of that chemo. Until you have a young child in your family, that is dying of cancer, and I'm sure you don't, but I DO, then you have no idea what the hell you are talking about. His own MOTHER wasn't thinking of him, she was thinking of her stupid beliefs. Go get a life, would you?
Now according to court documents that I read his first and only chemo treatment was the first week of February. It was after that event when she started to look at alternative treatments because of the child's complaint of the pain of the chemo treatment and happened on this quasi-religious Indian medicine man while searching the internet. Daniel when he was being questioned by the Judge said the family went to a small Catholic Church in Mankato every other week. So much for the religious belief defense she used. She also said in that media interview that Daniel would rather run away than have any more chemo treatments. Now tell me, how far is a 13 year old living on a farm 5-10 miles from the town Sleepy Eye going to go in late winter or early spring in Minnesota. Not far.
It is obvious she loves her son. In my opinion her zealous over-protecting of him combined with his illiteracy clouded some common sense that she as an adult and mother should have used. Remember this. It never would have been a news story if she and Daniel shown up for the court date as required and promised.
One more thing. When this California lawyer shows up with a lot of empty promises of alternative treatment in Mexico that also clouded her judgment.
I wonder who paid for those Sun Country Airline tickets.
Two and two just does not add up to four regarding some of her statements.
