This is the true test of the climate worshippers. Can they stand up for their true god in opposition to the people?

Yes this bill will create jobs. All of them in other countries. Great job folks.

Yet another example of a Dem Lite wearing the hat of a Republican. I hope he gets voted out also. Maybe Nancy can give him a seat on her side of the isle up close to her since he loves her policies so much. Screw the folks that voted your sorry arse into that office.

"Peterson, the chairman, said Tuesday that he voted for the bill only because he knew it wouldn't become law immediately."

Topix would filter the three letters that come to my mind, reading this. If I was as incoherent as that I would be scared to ever meet my constituents, also.

If Walz doesn't like being compared to Communists, he should stop associating and supporting them.

Walz (D-Pelosi), isn't a communist, but is a socialist. And Peterson (D-Crystal Sugar)....is this dofus that stupid?

"Peterson, the chairman, said Tuesday that he voted for the bill only because he knew it wouldn't become law immediately."

Looks like 2010 is going to be a good year for Republicans.

I am thinking that the Republican party is sending their goon squad to infiltrate blogs along with festivals like Farmfest.

How can intelligent people not be for this most important bill in the history of mankind? If we fail on this legislation, the planet Earth will die along with every creature and plant on it.

Do you really want to die? What is wrong with you people?

I didn't know we had options? I thought, at some point in time, based on historical data, we were all going to die, It is nice to know if we support this climate bill, which I am not sure all scientist agree on, we have an option.
I am all IN!!

So the world is going to end if this monstrosity doesnt pass? Have you been drinking paint thinner? Your argument is a stupid logical fallacy - "vote for this or you will DIE!!!"

Talk about communism, these farmers that attend this expo get hundreds of thousands of dollars in subsidies each year. I assume this anticommunist lady farmer sends all her "communist government payments" back to the government each year.

What are you, goofy or something? You've been dipping into the Guinness a little too much there, lad. Please think for yourself and do not simply take the word of Al Gore as the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
yes, we need to be good stewards of the environment. But you can take off your tinfoil hat and come to the realization that the world is not going to end because people drive SUVs. Al
Gore is in this for Al Gore. He is lining his pockets with gold through the legions of followers he has been able to scare to death with a lame PowerPoint presentation that was videotaped and turned into a "movie."
Cap and Trade is going to hurt the U.S. It will do nothing for the environment. It will simply weaken the U.S. Plain and simple.

You people all have blinders on. It is a fact that we are killing Mother Earth every day with our pollution and our practices.

The root cause of the problem here is our current form of government. When everyone has one vote, no one will ever vote against their own self interest. And when you have enough of the big corporate fat cats buying people's votes, then the one without an axe to grind, like the unions or the non-profit corporations, will never gather the power needed to make the right things happen.

However, I do believe we are awash in a sea of change, and there is hope at the end of the tunnel. If we simply follow the game plan our President is laying out in front of us, we will all be happy, prosperous, and at peace with our brothers and sisters across this magnificent universe.

"When the forum's moderator asked for a show of support for the bill, only a few people raised their hands."

priceless.

"One woman angered Walz when she compared health care reform to a "step toward communism."

"I didn't spend 24 years in the military to be called a communist, I can tell you that," Walz fired back.

That's not exactly answering the question, is it Tim? you two are going down if you keep supporting this garbage.

Yeah, we'll have flowery meadows and rainbow skies, and rivers made of chocolate, where the children dance and laugh and play with gumdrop smiles.

You say it like that is a bad thing to strive for peace in this world and a clean environment for our children. How sad for you.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Libra

If someone owes you money and you're beginning to think that you'll never get it back, this is an excellent day to chase them up. They may not cave in straightaway but at least you'll have had your say and done what you can. Watch out for a tendency to lose your temper, because although this could be quite dramatic if you're usually the soul of equanimity it could work against you if you become aggressive or unpleasant.
