Wetterling friend still hopes for a happy ending

I still believe Jacob is alive somewhere. My gut has always told me he's out there somewhere, never have I believed he's dead. Even after all these years, I still include Jacob and his family and friends in my prayers every night.

I can't imagine the thought of losing a child like that. We have heard for years about the trials and tribulations of Wetterling family, and we pray for their continued healing. But I guess we all forgot about the friend. That poor kid, now an adult, lives with the guilt everyday.

I had many friends who were students in Collegeville that year, and I know it hit the student body of St. John's and St. Ben's extremely hard when tragedy struck the small neighboring college campuses. We still think of Jacob and hope that someday there will be a resolution to his story. Having been a student myself up at St. Ben's, it is hard to think that such a crime could be committed in this small, rural area where everyone seems to know everyone else. My own son will be turning 11 this month, and it breaks my heart to think what the Wetterling family has gone through all these years of not knowing where Jacbo is today. I pray that he is found someday so this family can finally be at peace.

I find it highly implausible that a 32 year old man could be kept in the same way that Jaycee Dugard was.

We all hope to learn Jacobs fate. May it be sooner rather than later

I think the Jaycee Dugard is the reason they're even having this story raising up at this time. I have never forgotten Jacob and hope that at least his fate will be known one day. What a terrible memory for a family to have to live with their entire lives.
