Major hospitals all across the country not included

As if the millions of Americans set to lose their existing health insurance coverage as a result of Obamacare was not bad enough, a recent survey by Watchdog.org has found that many top hospitals across the nation will no longer be accessible to the average person with a new “eligible” plan. In fact, many major hospitals are being excluded from Obamacare coverage altogether, which means that millions of previously covered individuals will have to settle for subpar care at other “in-network” facilities.

Based on the results of the survey, most of the nation’s top hospitals, including renowned facilities like Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, will only be accepting insurance from one or two companies included as part of Obamacare. This means that all the other insurance plans offered on the Obamacare exchanges will be ineligible, and many patients will be required to go to other facilities, even if their previous insurance plans were accepted by these same hospitals.

Americans who sign up for Obamacare will be getting a big surprise if they expect to access premium health care that may have been previously covered under their personal policies. Most of the top hospitals will accept insurance from just one or two companies operating under Obamacare.

It is not just "premium health care" and "renowned facilities" that are being shut out. Many people in this area are finding out that the hospitals in Nashville, TN, which are only 60 miles away and have always been where people were sent by local doctors for surgery, are not in their new Obamacare policy's network. Now they will have to travel all the way to Lexington, more than twice as far. Even some local county hospitals are not in the network for Obamacare policy that people who live in that county have now.

There is even a possibility that it will affect emergency medical care. All of the medivac helicopters that serve this are are based in Nashville, TN. Western Kentucky is actually out of range of the some of the helicopters based in Lexington. If they come here they will have to refuel somewhere to get back to Lexington. Check it out in your area. I am betting that you will be in the same situation.

From the Washington Post:

"The enrollment records for a significant portion of the Americans who have chosen health plans through the online federal insurance marketplace contain errors — generated by the computer system — that mean they might not get the coverage they’re expecting next month. The errors cumulatively have affected roughly one-third of the people who have signed up for health plans since Oct. 1, according to two government and health-care industry officials."

Sorry no link. I got it the old fashioned way out of a paper.

"Sorry no link" HELL!

That article is on the net and here is a quote from it:

In a call with reporters Monday, Bataille said that about 80 percent of the errors with 834 forms — the enrollment data — stemmed from “one bug that prevented a Social Security number from being included. That caused the system not to generate an 834.”

“That bug has now been fixed and [that part] is now working properly,” Bataille said. She said that CMS also has addressed smaller bugs, including one that caused family relationships to be coded inaccurately (a child, for example, might show up as a spouse).
[end quote]

Every new site on the net with that many humans logging on and with that much data to deal with will have bugs. Yet the bugs are quickly being fixed. Quit yer distortions. In the long run nobody's gonna die over this, and healthcare and the general health of Americans will improve dramatically.

If you're like me and work and pay your insurance, you'll pay $13,000 for family coverage with a $5,000 deductible. So you'll have $13,000 out of pocket for insurance that has a deductible so high that you can't afford to use if for routine care.

If you work for average wages and have a tight budget the so-called "generous subsidies" aren't going to help you because they aren't paid directly to reduce the price of the private insurance that you have to buy. They are a tax credit that you get at the end of the year. You still have to figure out how to come up with almost $1,100 a month to pay the premium.

And don't give me the shit about low wage workers getting Medicaid. You can, but not if you own anything or have any savings put away. You've got a choice: pay for insurance that won't do you any good, pay the fine, or give up everything that you've worked all your life for and become a welfare case. And that is exactly what the damn socialist in the White House wants you to be.

Obamacare was designed to benefit one group: Obama's political base, the big city urban welfare class. It was also designed to punish hell out of the rank and file of the opposition: the white working class in the rural "red" states that voted against him.

Not rurnt yet. If you want to do something, organize. Sue. Vote. Rebel. Revolt. But all you do is run that mouth and make a fool of yourself because all you do is use different names and repeat yourself, like a stupid parrot. There ARE parrots that are smarter than you.
