This women is at a better place. She is at peace now. She is no longer suffering. She doesn't need or want your sympathy. Her family probably feel guilty but, don't be. You didn't do anything wrong, you couldn't help her because you would if you could.

She was escorted to the Unit on the 19th by someone in the sales office and she had told them that she was meeting her cousins to show them the unit. She ask the person from the sales office for some info and she had to return to the office and she jumped while the salesperson was away. Apparently she had also viewed the unit previously.

I understand all of your needs/wants to know what happened.. who, what, why, etc......All it is to you who did'nt know her, is gossip, news, different stories getting bungled together..... but to us, it's a woman we loved and cared about , who is no longer with us....she has left behind many who loved her without judgement, so in the end please dont judge her or her thoughts..... Please post your thoughts respectfully..... think about how you would feel if this was your friend or family member... and you knew what the truth really was..... how hurtful the posts would be that are only filled with half truths and assumptions!! Heaven must have needed another Angel, so G-d took her home and ended her pain. On behalf of my family and myself our condolences to Jeff and her entire family. Rest in peace Debby..... you will sooooo missed by many ;o(

I just came across this blog tonight. Was that meeting held on Tuesday night? What became of that? I cant help but wonder if we know the real information on what happened. I came home shortly after 5 that evening and saw what had happened. I cannot shake the eerie feeling. Honestly, I am wondering if there is any concrete proof that this was a suicide and not a murder. I dont feel safe without more than just a blog full of information. Am I alone in feeling this way?

It definitely was NOT a homicide. Trust me on this, Maple. Sad, but true.

This lady was my Godmother and my wedding is next month. It is a horrific thing for everyone to be dealing with. I am sorry that you had to be rhe ones to discover it, we have to live without her for the rest of our lives. Before anyone passes comments or judgement on why she did this, please for one moment, imagine the horror that God forbid this could be someone you loved and was your family. She was a wonderful, kind, giving, funny and incredible person and anyone that knew and loved her has a huge hole in their heart without her.
sorry

Suicide knows no age, race, class or gender. Depression and mood disorders can affect anyone. Come join our walk on 10/4 Saturday at Busse Woods on Higgins in Elk Grove to learn more. Young, Old, Veterans, Mothers with Post Partum Depression, teens with no forward view, older adults trying to come to terms with aging, elderly and terminal illness diagnosis. You never know what a person may be thinking.

<quoted text> I am a current resident in the optima complex. I came home Friday approx 5:15 from work to a what I would describe as a horrific scene. I want to first and foremost send my sincere condolences to the family and friends of the mysterious deceased. I too have dealt with tradgedy, suicide etc... with very close people in my life. The question is WHY? I know all to well it is sometimes never answered.
This woman is my aunt by marriage & was a very lovely lady. I wasn't particularly close, but she's been at every family affair, my wedding & helped plan my bridal shower. She was a very giving woman. We have a lot of unanswered questions that will remain just that. I think it was a bit of a selfish act with all the wonderful family & life she had going & left behind. But, while I have my opinions, who am I to judge; obviously no one knew the depth of her despair. To me she always came across as a very independent & outgoing person...always spoke her mind. She is/will be terribly missed by all those who knew her & loved her. I hope she is at least at peace.

I was her niece. I understand about people's curiosity, but none of you other than "Beth", knew her. She was the most wonderful woman I have ever known. she was full of love for everone she came into contact with. I learned even more about her kind loving nature at the funeral as people spoke of her and how she made a difference in their lives. unfortunately she suffered depression and was in the care of a doctor for years. I still can't believe she is gone and the manner in which she decided to go. so not like her. she was not selfish...as a matter of fact, she was the exact opposite. Debby will be missed by many!

Maybe you should not join this thread seeing as how a lot of people here are family... They have every right to vent, and share what they want. I hate negative people like you that join to say stupid mean things...
