Changing the curfew time will not matter if they don't enforce it. I experienced many encounters with police, when I was 16 and they simply asked me my age and told me to be on my way home. That isn't very effective now is it?

good. the only time we've been mugged in evanston is from the little monsters standing around the parks. One week last summer the worthless little shits decided to attack five people in one night, one being my roommate. i still see the little monster sometimes and you live in fear after something like that for weeks on end. the kids around here are generally good, from what I've seen, but their parents are lazy and ignorant. these kids are being punished for shitty parents.

EPD only interested in DUI arrests, all about traffic. They do not follow these kids because they don't want to end in endlessly in court with counter suits from the very well-versed parents. These kids have immunity in Evanston, I was told that by a lawyer from the city who works at Holland & Knight, Evanston's legal counsel. Very pathetic.
