Bill collectors made a mistake, now what?A bill collector sent a letter in the mail stating that I owe a past due amount (and get this) of, and i quote, ".00". Now, I know otherwise, but it's hilarious, and I'm going with it. So now, I have made a copy of the letter, and highlighted the Amount Past Due. Question is, Should I send a letter saying that I don't owe them, and if so, how do I word it? Thanks in advance!!=)
