We really need another restaurant or another grocery store we have enough houses. And I really do think putting apartments are just going to bring more drug opportunity to the area which really isn't such a great idea because there is enough drugs in Schwenksville

I really don't think it's fair to say that apartments will bring drugs. From apartments to mansions, drugs are everywhere and in every town.

So more people = drugs? How ignorant can one be? I really hope these plans go through as it will being a bit more life to the area with the shops and such

The original poster is probably commenting re: the apts due to the fact we have a prison right down the road and in town a apt/release housing. He is correct

Illegal activity comes from not being able to to support yourself on legal activity. Apartments are less expensive and offer mobility to those doing illegal activities. Next is intelligence, virtue, and wisdom not found much in a mobile population.

Replacing occupations with housing only makes more unemployed living on government handouts. How about building a research center with high income people?
