School uniforms are somthing that takes away peoples personal identification and they don't make childern learn very well no matter what you wear in school.

School uniforms are a must at my daughters public school. The children may choose to wear one of three colors of shirts and one of two colors of bottoms (shorts, capri, skirt, skort, or pants). They accent their choices with colorful belts and wraps. The teachers are another story. I feel that teachers should adhere to the uniform policy as well. At our school they are either hoochie, too relaxed, or what were you thinking this morning. As a post note I noticed that the majority of comments from children seem to contain errors. Perhaps these mind should be steered in a different direction.

I am 100% AGAINST uniforms. I don't believe any child should be forced to wear something that makes them uncomfrontable. I also think that as an individual that children should have a say so on what he or she wears. As long as it's not revealing. I am a senior in high school and I haven't wore a uniform but once my whole school experience and I absolutly HATED it. Uniforms are expensive and now days alot of families aren't as fortunate as others. So in other words if child is caught wearing the same uniform for at least 3 days straight because his or her mother dosen't make enough money to purchase 5 different uniforms for all of her children than the school is on her back threating to call social services. Either way if your in a uniform or not a child will get picked on regardless of what he or she wears. POINT BLANK!!!!! The uniform dosen't cover up the fact that the childs hair is not done or cut, or that his or her shoes aren't namebrand, or the fact that the child has an odor problem because there's no water at home to bath in. These are things that children today get picked on about. So if you really think uniforms are going to make a diference.... THAN YOUR WRONG!!

personal opinion.

I don't think kids should have to wear uniforms because it gives you no chances to express yourself. Besides, sometimes if the parents dont have a lot of money, the uniform can be very expensive and cost them a lot. Sometimes, if you know other kids that don't have to wear uniforms, they could tease you. I don't think kids should have to wear uniforms for many reasons. PLEASE, TAKE UNIFORMS OUT OF SCHOOLS!

i think kids should not have to wear uniforms they dont help kids learn at all. once my friend (who goes to a catholic school)woke up late in the morning and couldnt find her uniform for school. wouldnt it have just been easier if she just pulled out a random shirt and pair of pants from her closet? she could have just thrown on a pair of shoes and gone right to school! see how easy it is without uniforms?

Yeh, uniforms are not such a bright idea, the way people are these days they wil still find something to make fun of them about. It doesnt distract people from learnign int he class. So uniforms is not a good idea. When people wear what they want, it lets them tell yuo what they are really like, what there style is they dont want other people deciding for them so i am against school uniforms.

Hi, I really don't want dissapoint anyone who likes uniforms, but i think they aren't really necessary. Truth is, I wouldn't care if they were more comfortable... that's really all. By the way Inuyasha rules!

i think is a good idea because i read an article about school uniforms and it was about dress code would take the emphasis off fashion and help kids focus more on learining and some pressure for kids that they have to wear a brand name labes.

i think school uniforms are horrible. it takes away a persons individuallity, and not to mention our creativity. we all have a right to be different and with a uniform we would not be able to show that. not to metion the cost. parents would have to spend money on uniforms, clothes for after school, and on the weekends. thats almost double the cost parents would have to pay if we did not have uniforms.everyone would look the same and we might even forget who we are!!!

I think uniforms should be a MUST!!!! It should include shoes & socks. Also, I don't think jewelery should be worn. They are not in school to look good (even though they have some attractive uniforms out here) they are in school to learn. No we are not all alike but what you wear will be one less distraction. I think hair should be cut neatly for boys & CLEAN. I think no longer than shoulder length hair for girls & clean is sufficient. No make up is necessary. And all should wear the same clothing from the top of their heads to their toes. I know they will disagree but what they look like is NOT why they are in school and the sooner they figure out the world does not revolve around them, the better off they will be. Its time we teach them we are the adults and take spock's beliefs out of the equation, teach good morals, ethics and higher standards our children some day will be able to run our country.
wow....all i can say. So you would have been fine with this? Next we met as all be clones and have no differences at all. Wouldnt that be a great place to live......

I think there should not be any school uniforms in schools anywhere. People think it cuts down on practialy everything. When actualy it just makes more people want to get into fights and push anybody around that they want to just so that they can get their way in this world. This world is all messed up with all of this drama that we have in school and out of school people are sucidial today and they want to harm other people that they don't even know. People just think about what you do before you do it!!!!!

I think when you are young you learn a lot of lessons that are painful to help you when you get older. I think eveyone has to learn to be unique in some way. I don't think uniforms will stop the problems for kids.
