We're gonna try to do a weak impression of your weather today. Wind gusts 65+, 49 F, 1-2" of rain. I feel so Oregonian.

Mmmmm Hmmmmm.... so you are between the ages of 58-61... Yep... I don't miss much. LOL

I'm still wondering if you are that fox I saw....

Don't worry, just admiring from afar... I did not miss the wife and the children you mushroom hunt with either.

I do love your posts, the way you make my neurons fire...

But stop shaking, you are safe... LOL

Tonight, the wind should blow the coulds away, or at least keep them moving, so that you have a view of the stars and moon. Listen for owls- it's their mating season and they're started to stake claims to territory. At some point, I'll be out looking at the same sky, with other friends everywhere. Maybe we'll catch eachother out there...stuff happens.

i will if it's not raining! yesterday it only sprinkled a little. later today it's supposed to sock in again. i've stumbled across owls in the woods here with that "something is staring at me" feeling before. the big black birds (ravens?) usually get together and chase the owls away. i saw a bunch of seagulls chase off a long legged storky looking bird (egret) once.
is marilyn doing ok? her profile is empty...

Thanks for the heads up...that may not be good news. The holidays affect some differently than others...

(¸.´(¸Merry Christmas Sleeveheart....

I'm still here, but you are right, the profile is a symbol... thanks for noticing...

The holidays have little to do with how I am feeling, if anything it forces me to interact a bit out of concern for those it would bother but I am trying to stay as far away from everyone as I can get... hell, it took 8 years for Ohio State to quit trying to get me to come back.... and I just want to be Greta Garbo....

I vant to be alone....

I wonder... if she were alive today would she be hanging out on topix?

Sleevie, you and I are supposed to have the same low temp tonight... no wonder I am freezing... it is still in the 50's right now. I will be sleeping with the hot water bottle tonight.

Opis you should do that for Naja... put it in a pillowcase. My grandmother always tucked me in with one... a happy memory. Of course I was sleeping on a feather bed she had made herself too. I learned to make rag rugs about Naja's age. Wish I could show her... something all the kids that wandered through my life learned at some point along with making a pot holder..LOL

She makes the potholders already. The hot water bottle? With the house at a maximum of 55 if the sun is out, she peels off outer layers cause she can't stand the heat. She's a little hot water bottle herself.
I had hoped the profile thing was a form of communication with someone, or symbolic. I had promised not to email for a couple days. I know that anything you needed to talk about, you would contact me in whatever manner you pleased in your own time. You know I never chase or force.

Sort of a private joke. We love eachother but I'm old enough to be her father and grandfather to her kids, so we have settled for a father/daughter relationship. I must say, for what I know about her and her life and what she has to deal with everyday (and how she deals with it) I am as proud of her as if she were my own, and in many ways she reminds me of my oldest-bright, funny, capable, hardworking, a hopeless romantic and damn good looking, too! My adopted e-daughter!

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Libra

If you're invited to a party or gathering today and you don't know whether to go, you should. You'll have a terrific time and you might meet someone who always makes your knees go weak. Even if it's a perfectly harmless flirtation and you're both happily committed to other people, it will still do your ego good to have a tantalizing conversation with this person.
