Ritchie County Man Heads to Jail in DUI with Death Case

A Ritchie County man convicted of DUI with death reported to jail, Friday. A judge sentenced Arley Shreves, 20, on Tuesday.

i have a comment you may not like this judgment may have not been fair in my book i know of an accident of similar things in it a death didn't not occur but the dui driver is still free and the person who allowed it is also free my mother was hit by a dui suspected driver on may 18th of last year and the person who gave him permission to drive his vehicle and him are both still free i have a personal friend also in trouble facing jail time for a dui driving and this gentlemen has already went to jail for his crime but why is it not all dui drivers treated the same a death does make some what worse but the crime that was committed against my mother which broke her jaw in many places her neck was fractured her rubs broke leg broke i have pics you should see they all should have to pay in jail no matter what .. period since they dont is it really fair one goes to jail and others walk with a slap on the hand and don't do it again b.s. come on the person who hit my mom had already lost his drivers license for dui so they can't take those and he was free to do it again something needs to change and now before more deaths and major injuries happen ..my mother will never be the same she has trouble chewing her food breathing and just moving her head and walking with out a great deal of pain... and gee imagine the owner of the vehicle his insurance didn't have to pay a dime for medical bills for my mom he crushed the truck two days have the wreck thanks to it not being put in towing thanks to the state trooper who let him take it home seems that is a law that needs changed too the country doesn't want to pay storage while it is being looked into by the insurance companies so they let the person take the truck home and the scum had it crushed before they could even look at it is anything being done nope.. is it i doubt it... so no i dont think one person should get jail time even though there was a death involved if others go free for doing all this...
