Hey every one I went out for a walk this evening and to my surprise on the city agenda for tomorrow night ole Julie is at it again trying to get a pay raise before his honor leaves. We need to pack that city building tomorrow night at seven p.m.to see who the yes men are this time.

How can she ask for a raise when she is the one who screwed the pool budget up? People need to attend this meeting in numbers and stand your ground! I'm out of town for work so won't be able to make it,but come on people, although we as citizens don't really have a say,let your voices be heard!!

Intelligence deserves a pay review--You can take shots at someone, but those setting the Landmines wouldn't have the foggiest of how to do the job efficiently and effectively. Those who complain should offer working solutions instead of crybaby tactics!!They can tell you whats wrong but come up short on working solutions--Just complain!!

I have a question and hope someone can answer it WITHOUT going way into detail or off course. If the mayor resigns and a new mayor comes in,can that mayor appoint a new city recorder? Just a question, hopefully someone can answer it.

Yes, but they must first trump up some charges against the current recorder and then fire her. Get ready new Mayor because these people here in the ville have nothing better to do but stir the pot.

There won't be a reason to stir the pot any longer, the goof is out of office. Now an honest person that doesn't think they're God can run the town. These last few years have been the worst this town has ever seen!

According to the City Charter, the Recorder serves at the pleasure of the City Council. Charges are not required as this is an appointment, not a hire position. Any appointment can be rescinded due to (Section 15, City Charter) "malfeasance, nonfeasance or misfeasance" which basically means wrong doing, failure to to the job, or going about the job the wrong way even though legal. Any appointed or elected position may be removed from office for one of the above three causes. Also, the Recorder position is a one-year appointment that does not require renewal - even for good performance. The Council may appoint any person at the start of the normal term or remove/appoint a new Recorder within a term for cause. I hope this answers your question.

Let the person step forward and bring his case instead of his puppet. This person has some real problems involving proper handling of taxes which we all are required to file. A "witch Hunt" does not generate answers for logical conversation. This City is fortunate to have Julie in the Recorder position as she juggles a multiplicity of tasks consistently well. A change of personnel for subjective illogical reasons is prohibitive to sound management practice. "Don't fix it, if it isn't broke". It is not broke, and we shouldn't cave in to the "withch hunt mentality". Today is the first day of the rest of our life--So let's get on with it and the business at hand. We have a "winner" folks!!

the town can't afford to run the pool and then they give a ten percent raise to someone who has brought all them legal problems to the city. Just doesn't make sence.
How much are those court cases going to cost the city?

As you can see, even without reason the pot is still being stirred.

the pool "manager" hired way too many hunky lifeguards and besides the "fringe benefits they got, they got to work all the hours they wanted to until Julie called them out. The two scammers who walked out filed a frivulus lawsuit to scam the town out of millions, and us taxpayers are footing the bill.
