We at WRSG continue to add new Christmas music. Our primary focus is to get totally brand-new songs that haven't already been covered. As of yet, we haven't gone totally Christmas, but will do so Christmas Eve and Christmas, along with much of December 26th.

The Tyler County Board of Education covers the cost of extra electricity to run the transmitter and the studio. They also helped pay over and above monies that came directly from the WRSG fund, which was built up by me until Coach J.C. Kimble was able to solicit monies from several area businesses for his basketball program and to make the WRSG basketball broadcasts possible. I would like everyone to know that for the years that WRSG put on football that NO ONE was paid to broadcast or engineer each broadcast.

Over the past almost 13 years, I've solicited monies from businesses and indivduals to help with station operation and to show the Board that WRSG is a necessary service. WRSG is a labor of love for myself and all of the many program providers, none of which has received a penny for their efforts. Ask my wife about the THOUSANDS of uncompensated hours my wife knows I've put in, beginning years before the station's first broadcast. Not tooting my own horn here, but facts are facts. Also, your inquiring mind wanted to know about if "Dr. Yeti" was helping to fund the station.

The Dr. Yeti comment is interesting, and I'm glad you've gone to his website. He's been producing shows since 2007 and has not asked for a penny.

Thanks for your interest in "Knights Radio, WRSG"!

I believe the question was asking if "Dr. Yeti" donates a portion of the money to WRSG from the sale of his t-shirts and cups not if WRSG pays him.

Also, thank you for all of your hard work over the years in getting and keeping the station going. I have enjoyed it!

'TylerResident,' thank you. That was indeed the question. He does not, because the fact that he does his show for free is donation enough.
