Iím a Greater Greenville Sanitation worker, and the passing of this Bill is greatly appreciated; However, I would state that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, gave his life in the pursuit of uplifting a group of Sanitation Workerís, God giving right of Equality, and itís amazing that 40 years after his death, sanitation workers are still having to fight for equality and inclusion. Governor Haley, I did not vote for you, but I was very pride when you become South Carolinaís first female Governor, and it would seem that equality and inclusion did not elude you in your pursuit of the Governorship, so I donít understand why you would veto a Bill that would be helpful and inclusionary to a group of sanitation workers.
I remember seeing a sign that the Memphis, sanitation workers were holding during their march that read,ďI am a manĒ. Well Governor Haley,ďI am a man, and I am a voter.
