Yes it was on 94 this morning, she was 20 years old, her car lost control after sliding on a patch of ice and she collided with a 63 year old mans vehicle. The rest of you morons need to grow up and show some respect, a family is without their daughter now. I'm sure y'all would not like it if it was your loved one!!!

I am only going to say this once..: whoever u are on this site that has such little respect for human life as u have shown. U should be so ashamed. This girl has a mother and father who will never get up again and have their child to love and cherish. U may think ur words are a joke but they show the mentality u possess which is little.. Be respectful of life. A blessing that we have every day. I only hope ur parent or u never know the pain of losing a child. I have never had to feel that pain and I hope God never let's me know how those two parents. Her family and her friends feel tonight. I will pray for u. Because u need someone to if u can say things like I have regarding this young girl!

After reading these remarks (except for those who showed respect) Murray sucks!!! I thought Murray was voted the "friendly town." If Murray is the friendly town I wonder who the other towns where... they must be really sad.

But with the comments about this girl and the accident I don't see how any place could get much lower... you should be so proud to live in Murray.

Hate to hear this. Do you know if she was originally from Murray ? I have two kids close to that age. Couldn't imagine what her family is going thru. How was the older gentleman? My sympathy to the family's involved.

Murray has a population of over 17,000. The senseless, hurtful comments you are reading on this thread were written by less than a handful of thoughtless little jerks who have nothing better to do than post ignorant remarks on this site for shock value. Why? Because apparently they think it's cute or something. They are most likely twelve to fourteen year olds with too much time and not enough Internet supervision. You can hardly judge an entire town by a few assanine comments made by pitiful, wayward adolescents.

My heart goes out to the family of this poor girl. If you read this (and I really hope you don't because of some of the other comments) you should know you are in my prayers.

. I don't know if she was originally from Murray, and I haven't heard any details regarding the man.

If you have a tragedy in your family, one place you want to stay away from is a Topix site anywhere. There's many people that will say the most hateful things because that's as far as their mentality takes them.

You said it right and one day we all will be known for who we really are! The hidden identity will be stripped away!

I agree, but there is no way to know the age of someone who makes comments on here. The overall comments reflect the community and it makes the good people look bad.

It is sad that even if they are teenager that they would post such comments... just shows the IQ of some and where they are going in life.

I feel for this family and if you can't make a respectful comment go to another site.

Yeah, that's why I said that they are "most likely" twelve to fourteen. Because of the anonymity of this lovely site, there is no way of knowing someone's age. However, if you make juvenile comments, I am going to assume you are a juvenile. The anonymity of this site is also the reason that these childish people post comments that they wouldn't dare utter in person. That fact alone is one reason you should not make judgements about an entire community based on the ignorant comments of these few, who may or may not even be a part of this community.

I've lived here for my entire life, so of course I have encountered rude and thoughtless people here. Overall, however, Murray is an extremely friendly and pleasant town. If you let a few bad apples skew your perception of an entire population of people, you will never find a friendly town.
