Who coaches the teams, and how are the teams picked?

The teams are grouped by age, 7U-13U, tryouts are held once a year usually at the end of Aug early Sept and players are picked on a number of different skills. All of the coaches are outstanding and have a lot of baseball experience

It is a good idea. Not a very good program. Have a nephew that plays past 2 yrs. Seems more of a money making project than real travel ball.Definitely not worth all the money and time wasted. Coaching is terrible on each level. Mostly dads looking out for their own kids and limited baseball knowledge. They promote that it's a development program but not much of that going on either.Hear mostly alot of complaining at games by parents. Not up to the same level of other travel programsthat I have seen at tournemants or heard about.

Agree with last post. Very disaapointed in our experiences with this program. My son plays alot but its not worth the wasted time or MONEY. Coach only seems focused on his kid and the assistance coaches kids. Haven't won many games and not learning to play better baseball.

I agree with the past 2 posts, terrible program and wasted money. It was a mistake to play, but will not be involved in this program in the years to come.

This program sucks. Its just a money making thing and a way for certain people to look after and coach there own kids.Been to several games and the kids can barely compete with other baseball programs.Too many Liars

Kids can barely compete??? 9u has won 23 or so games this year and only lost 1.. 10u has won 3 tournaments.. 11u has won 17 games and lost 6, 12u has won 15 games and lost 8. 13u hasn't played any yet. The problem is, what is said in the last few posts, parents do not support that program, they bitch and cry about eveything. Go play somewhere else, or voice your problems..

My son is a Maxpower player, and the coach is a relative. Every program has faults, this program is new and getting worked out. I can not speak for other age groups but our coaching staff is excellent. All have played baseball for many years and have taken many new classes to better their knowledge of the game. If you look at who plays the most ( on our team) is the kids who are better players. Sorry that most parents have a hard time seeing their child's potential or lack of potential. If you have problems please conference with the coaches and not behind their backs!!

Just heard about this site through a friend and wanted to check out comments that were made about our friend. Not sure who any of the people are pn this site posting negative things about people or untrue statments and using a person(s) names but I personally will be contacting Mitch because he is a friend of mine.I think their is grounds for a lawsuit for slander because I know for a fact that none of the info is true. He coached my son a couple years ago and he's an excellent coach. Betteer yet is a good guy.My understanding is that he left this program last year because he's coaching a better travel team program in Louisville. He obviously saw all the problems coming with this organization last year.

Terrible program. I was at a game last week watching in Oldham and the coach got into an argument with a parent while the game was being played.Seems to be a weekly event with this program. How embarassing and pathetic!

Well i guess you didn't see what started that, cause I to was at that game, and was standing beside the dugout.. The parent started verbally attacking a assistant, and then came in the dugout wanting to fight the assistant, all the head coach said was please stop yelling and get out of the dugout, and he said it about 10 times!! Then the parent started verbally attacking the head coach, the coach never said anything bad to him, just asked him to stop yelling cause it was embarrassing the team, and to stop cussing in front of the players, and then after the parent still didn't stop and started threating the coach that's when he took his son out and asked him to leave.. Gocb was about to call the cops on the parent, I was standing right there when they came over and told him they was!!! If you don't like the program then leave, your unsupportitve of the program.. Matter of fact that parent has always gotten into it with the coaches on all the teams his kid has every played on

I agree 100%, my son loves the program, and the coach is good to all the kids, he doesn't even have a kid that is on any of the teams, he may get onto them, but it's because he knows they can do better.. My son has played more this year than he ever has.. Bottom line if you don't support the program play somewhere else, but odds are you won't be able to afford another travel team, or wouldn't even make the team..

Definitely my sons last year in the program.Haven't really gotten much from the program and not worth all the money and negativity. 2 years of problems are enough for us.
