i think when you convert into a religion you must follow those rules. im not being sexist im saying this is disrespectful, because a man can not stand on the alter if he is not circumcised. a woman is always wet a woman has a period that comes every month, and when she has it she is not allowed to entire the temple unclean let alone stand up there as if she is not unclean. yet these jews are not orthodox they do not follow all of the rules, they want to be a jew part time. smh

Since when did halakhah become solely based on the letter and not the spirit? G-d in Judaism has no gender and He created us "man" with dual gender first. Women have always played a public leadership role in Judaism from Miriam to Deborah. Granting the position of a rabbi is confirmation that this woman has "mastered" much Jewish understanding to offer guidance as a religious leader within the community.

he has no gender but his rules are to be followed as it is written it is not about gender did you see where i stated an uncircumcised man can not be a rabbi let alone stand on the alter in front of the Torah. a woman can not go to temple when she has her period she is just as unclean as the uncircumcised man. what i don't understand is these people want to make these things ok when it isn't. a woman menstruate every month, every day these women rabbi have to preach the word of hashem while they disobey it.

Actually my age limit is 19 years old, you droll. You know, one year out of high school or if she's one of your family members, eight years after they've dropped out or kicked out of school.

illness you can attend the temple. if you have open sores or rash u are unclean until its healed it is not necessarily a blood issue because it even depends on what part of your body u are effected. a Torah or siddur will explain whats except able and whats not. same for food that is unclean if consumed depending on what you ate you are unclean and must not attend temple for a certain amount of days. if it is deemed an unclean thing you must not go to temple and pray amongst the people and amongst the torah, but you may do so in your home or anywhere else. i had a muslim friend that told me its similar in islam because when she menstruate she can not touch her quran or pray in a mosque
