Our land was used to fight civil wars .... So it is possible the ghosts are still lingering. I wonder if we will find dead bodies underground... I'd be curious.

I used to live on El Cerrito Drive by the 15 Freeway. There is a driveway that goes up a hill, the 1st home on the right looked newly built in 2005. We moved in with my mother in law for a few months because she was totally scared after living by herself for a good year or so. She told us that she would see a man in the backyard squatting and crying. The backyard was mainly dirt, the pool was buried. When she loved alone the home would shake, no earthquakes on tv. One night someone knocked on her bedroom window (her bedroom was upstairs). She phoned her daughter to please come and stay with her for the night. When my brother in law started there, he would come home from work and find his sheets on the floor with all of his belongings in the middle of it. He would close his door at night and the knob would wiggle like someone wanted to come in. He eventually moved, he was spooked. I never saw anything strange, maybe because I'm too afraid but very interested. I tried to do some research but I haven't found anything regarding that property. There was a murder in the home above, not sure if it was linked.
Where is the house did you mean El Cerrito Rd.? Which house is it? I live in that area and I heard The area is Indian burials.

I have lived in corona my whole life. In a couple of different houses, and one house I lived in from the age of 9 to the age of 14 (96 to 01) this house is located on Sheridan street right by cfis. My grandmother as well as my mom grew up here in corona, too. My grandma used to go to cfis and she remembers seeing the house on Sheridan on her way to and from school. The house was built in the early1900s or late 1890s.
Anyway, this house was still in it's original form when I lived there, from the original cabinets to the skeleton keys we used to lock/unlock the bedroom doors. I used to sleep with my bedroom door open at night so I was able to see into the hallway because of the way my bed was facing.
At night I used to see dark shadows in the shape of people walking back and forth.(silhouettes) My parents had a nightlight in the hallway since it was so dark. That's why I was able to see the figures, I guess. I saw one in the shape of a man and another in the shape of a woman. This happened for hours each night, night after night, for years. It was scary as hell to me. I was so young, and I thought things like that only happened in movies.
That house also had a very bad feeling to it. I guess since it was so old, it carried negative energy. I also always had the feeling like if someone was watching me wven if I was alone in my bedroom. years later I told my mom and dad about what I saw. My dad told me that he used to see things there too but never went into details. I was asked why I never spoke up about what I saw. I didnt think anyone would believe me. I know I wouldn't believe it had I not seen it with my own 2 eyes.

e live off of Indian Truck Trail in Corona. Our house was built in 99 and is the only thing ever built here. We've been here for 10 years now. We are the 2nd family to live here. We have experienced many weird things here. When the house is empty & its only me home I always here sounds upstairs. Sounds like...someone jumped off a bed & then walks a few steps, things being dropped. My husband will see shadows & the feeling of being watched. My dog will perk her ears up & go to the stairs up stairs & no one is there. Then she just sits there for minutes staring up them.I remember one time when we first moved in I was sitting with my then 4 yr old daughter. We were sitting & talking & suddenly the plant on top of the entertainment center moved. ALOT. I didnt say anything to my daughter(didnt want to scare her), she turns to me & says, "Mommy how did the plant move?" I made something up to her but was freaking out on the inside. My husband will be downstairs & the rest of us are upstairs sleeping & he tells me that its like theres someone at the front door. Inside. I say wth are u talking about? He says he goes to it & no ones there. He opens it & all is quiet. My youngest daughter is scared of herroom. Always has been. We have a 4 bedroom. Her room is in the middle. When she was around 5,6,7,8 she would talk about a scary man that would talk to her. I had her draw a picture of what she saw. He had a mean look on his face, he was old & wore a black top hat. Wth is that???? I could go on & on. She has slept with me now for 2 years. A year ago last Feb. she was diagnosed with Epilepsy. I've heard that ghosts are attracted to children wit disabilities. I could go on & on.
We see the same things and shadows. Sometimes I get scared, sometimes I can' let it go. My house was built In 99 as we'll and I live in horse thief

There used to be stories all the time in high school up by gravity hills where there was a cult in "the Red Barn" that would sacrifice live animals and do all kinds of crazy rituals. There was even talk that they found a body hanging by a noose from the small water tank nearby. It was a very scary trippy place to go, haunted. In fact a good friend of mine died there on gravity hills and no one really knows how she crashed. RIP Angela Richey.

I had relatives who lived in Corona on the south side of sixth street, back in the early 60s. There was nothing but orange groves all the way tothe mountains. So we saw our share of "ghosts" when we were visiting at night. We heard strange moaning coming from the groves. It scared the heck out of us. Mostly, it was very imaginative kids and dark orange groves and no street lights. Hard to believe there was so much vacant property back then. Today it looks like an Ant Farm. Not to mention, there was NO traffic anywhere in Corona during that era.

Actually, I thought the scariest part of the story was your grammatic execution. Smoke some meth, there's knowledge in that pipe.
I almost wet my pants laughing at the comment regading her grammar. I wonder if this girl ever went to school?

Growing up in Corona Iv heard the ghost story of Ramona Corona from people that have lived here a long time. She used to be seen by some peppper trees by the Corona Cemetery on Rimpau. Iv also heard stories of ghosts being seen where they built the storage units at the botttom of the hill from the cemetery. At the bottom of that hill it used to be a cemetery for the poor with little white crosses they called it potters field. Im not sure if they ever moved the bodies. I also heard that there was a big zoot suit gang fight in that same area.
I have an uncle who was buried in that "potters field" back around the late 1920s as as he died a small child. He had the only concrete frame around his burial plot. My Grandfather poured it to make it easily recognized. My mom took me there around 1995 to show me and we placed flowers for her brother. Someone has come along and "cleaned" this property out and removed that concrete framing. I would think tht would be sacreligious to remove the body remains or build something on it. How does one find about the remains of those who are buried there? And I wonder if those who removed crosses and such have suffered unusual consequences for disturbing the dead? They need to look back on what has happened to them since the disturbance.

So is the Storage place built on top of the grave or is the grave elsewhere in the general area?

In Horsethief (off Indian Truck, like I've seen many comments about) there isn't much in terms of the paranormal, though many seem to believe the opposite. I may be thinking of a different water tower, but the one that I believe is referenced in here isn't haunted. I've explored that area many times. The strangest thing in that area was the old meth lab (pretty sure it's gone now), in my experiences. Some say there's a young woman in an old wedding dress (circa 1850, I would guess) who can be heard crying at night.

If you want haunted off Indian Truck, try where the old orange groves used to be. I haven't had the chance to explore them yet, but I've heard a little girl was murdered there in the early twentieth century. A friend of mine swears he's seen her but, again, I myself have not had the chance to check it out so I can't verify that this is true. I have no doubts that there were murders in the groves, though.

You can also try to find the place where the horse thieves Horsethief was named were hanged. I have next to no information on that, though, so you'd need to Google it.

I recently found out that the "Potters field" is just below the SunnySlope cemetery. All the original grave makers ( originally handmade) were removed long a go and the property was smoothed out. Supposedly, no bodies have been removed, but there is no way to determine who is who there anymore.
