I know, but most of these guys live with their mom, and share their truck with their mom. Their moms leaving used condoms because they're two-bit, railroad yard prostitutes was actually what I was talking about.
I guess I wasn't very clear.

What happened? Did your mom total your f-350, so now you're driving your second choice?
Don't feel left out, now. The same goes for men who live with their mom who drive Pacers.

We all love the pickup truck drivers despite Shipskie using them to create an uproar throughout the city. The fact is, though, because their oversize vehicles are classified as "trucks", they are exempted from complying with many federal vehicle safety construction laws that are applicable to passenger vehicles. What if one of those decent truck drivers lose control as a result of a minor traffic collision and crashes his vehicle into a bus bench filled with little school children waiting for the bus?

Ronald,
What if the reason that the decent trucker lost control was because he was fumbling over a cigarette ?

I would say move to the Antelope Valley where people park big trucks and construction equipment in their yards, but even the residents up there are getting tired of looking at their neighbors' stuff.

Amazing. Pick up Owners will fight for their trucks but allow the Marxists in City Hall to devalue our sense of Community while robbing our children of a shot at a decent American future without complaint.
Do you even know what Marxism is? I mean, really, have we seen any takeover of the means of production so that it's held in the hands of the working proletariat? Of course, there’s a lot more involved in Marxism apart from public ownership. You guys label opposing political views as "Marxist" or "socialist" without any clue as to what those political philosophies mean.

Marxist theory supposes Socialism a necessary prerequisite to the establishment of the theoretical Communist State.

One needs only to look to the nationalization of the US Big Tobacco industry that Big Government used to set the course for the current efforts by Big Government to buy into other industries - especially financial - to see that the metamorphose is well under way.

Ronald, what the hell does that have to do with the claim that the Long Beach city council's filled with a bunch of Marxists? And what tobacco firms have been taken over by the federal government? Maybe they have, I must've missed it. Finally, do you work tobacco into every single facet of your existence? I'd bet you'd somehow find tobacco affiliated with a recipie for crepes suzette!

These owners of large pickup trucks claim to "need" them for personal use. How is it that I am able to cart around a family of five - including two kids in car seats - in a Honda CR-V?
Let's face it, folks; there is an inverse correlation between size of a man's truck to the size of his, well, you know.
Lets see you pull a trailer behind you honda. You people are a joke. There is a need for some people to have a truck like this. The truck that was shown on t he news is not lifted up in the air. Its a truck that is used to haul a trailer. This is the reason why I cant wait to move out of this stuck up community.

Its crazy to me that the majority of people in this area are so judgemental. You think you are so much better than eveyone. You prove it by the 909 comments. So you think because you live in 562 that you have more money or more class. Seriously, get over yourselves. There are plenty of people who use their trucks for everyday use and for recreational purposes. Who are you to judge someone because of what they drive? I have a truck that I drive everyday, but I have it because I need it to haul my horse trailer with. So does that make me trashy? I dont think so. Everybody is acting like they are parking "big rigs" on the street. Really are you being serious?

BobC562.

Every year nearly 5 and a half millions Americans die. Most of those deaths are of non smokers. Even the wildest estimates made by the extremist anti smoker radicals estimate deaths of decent tobacco smokers to be a mere 400,000. I do not believe the deaths of non smokers to be a small matter.

Among those non smokers who die are those who suffer unbelievably excruciatingly pain during the dying process. Even those non smokers who benefit by receiving the latest euthanasia "treatments" offered by Big Medicine often die tragic deaths because of the effect their deaths have on the little children they may leave behind.

It would be human nature for the decent women and men who smoke tobacco to take the attitude of cursing the non smokers and telling them to just die because of the long suffering unspeakable abuse they have suffered at the hands of the tiny radical anti smoker extremist minority and affiliated hysterics. Are there any among us who are without sin though?

We can permit the Schipskites to divide us as they divide the criminal pickup parkers and drivers from decent law abiding homeowners but to what profit?

Better we were to bestow upon our non smoking brethren that loving kindness which will bring about their realization that the wages of sin is death, not some absurd notion of secondhand or thirdhand smoke. Will decent non smokers then not be led to see their own mortality and make peace with their maker before it is too late?

To me, that is a better course than falling into the traps and the snares the Schipskites are continually setting for decent non smokers and decent smokers alike.

If anything, they should step up enforcement. Big trucks are work vehicles, park then on your private property, not our public streets. Unless you are hauling and towing major loads you do not need such a large dangerous terrorist funding vehicle. Today more then ever we need to break the thinking that is is acceptable to use on of these bohemoths for a personal vehicle. I bet the same people that complain about this are the same ones that were happy to take the tax credit to buy one with he stipulation that is would be a WORK vehicle
