As long as he kept the ammo separate from the guns & both were locked up, then any decent lawyer should get the charges dropped. But if the guns were loaded, and I mean any sort of gun, then he'll be charged & probably convicted. And he can't use the whole "I just came from the gun range" as an excuse. Any self respecting gun range will make you remove the ammo from your guns prior to even entering their establishment.
Thank you and of course you are correct. He violated the first rule of gun safety: Don't load your weapon until you're ready to use it. There is no excuse for a loaded weapon (or clip or a musket, for that matter) in a motor vehicle. Period.

Yup he's an idiot, but so are the jerks at who are making him out to be a threat to the nation. They obviously threw the book at him for everything they could, including the steroids and nunchucks. Are we to believe he was Bruce Lee and Osoma all at once.

A loaded musket... Yea those are used by terriorsts every day aren't they. If he really was planning something do you think he would have even bothered to take that with him?

Instead of wasting our tax money they should have taken this stupid kids toys away from him, and made him serve some community service.

They obviously didn't break up a terroist plot, even though they seem to want us to belive they did. I suppose that's how they justify their existance when their afraid if they never catch anyone they might not be viewed as essential and loose their jobs.

Think about it, if we belive the offical reports they just saved us from a horiffic terrorist.

park the truck in a parking lot, up in the departure area. load the guns. leave the musket. walk in the terminal and begin shooting. what could have stopped him. was he drug tested? if he had done it, could it be blamed on roid rage? all the fixins are there for a massacre. does he need to be wearing a turban. or low baggy pants? HE LOOKED JUST LIKE TIMOTHY MCVIE! white male average looking going INTO the airport with guns and ammunition. BOOM BOOM BOOM!

excellent comment & in all seriousness, this guys stupidity was in having loaded guns. Some may not realize but it IS perfectly legal to bring guns to the airport. People do it every day,(no ammo) they declare them, and check them as baggage. The Airport Police did their job & his stupidity will probably end up with some high 'caliber' misdemeanors and a whole lot of community service.

Now that is the Good Ol Ca. thinking! If you look at the states that allow you to have a loaded gun in the car, their crime rate is a lot lower there than it is here.

I can't believe I moved back to this $hithole state.

He has legal authority to have that firearm, which he had stored with the gun! He was going to the shooting range 'Bubba', which is where he shoots it!
