The meeting on 7/26/2011 resulted in some movement forward with the attendance of NNDA and Kathy Halbardier who will teach classes for business owners & start ups. The workforce assessment has better direction now and probably will result in businesses being targeted which have the best chance of obtaining employees in the area. The theme for Silver Springs was also discussed and seems to be solidifying also. If anyone has an idea for a slogan or theme for Silver Springs please make it known to the Chamber Of Commerce. The next meeting is August 30th. The public is welcome. Bring your ideas and comments.
