This story is so UNDERSTATED..

Just maybe the reporter should go to the emergency rooms..sit around and see for himself..
Just in 2007 I spent an average of 14-20 hrs in Holy Cross Emergency prior to my wife being admitted for serious life threatening illnesses..
After filing a complaint..
I received call & letter from Mr Delvecchio himself afterwards..

WHAT A NIGHTMARE THIS PLACE IS!

I had the same trouble at Takoma Adventist also!

Id like to chat with you in more detail about this if possible!

Some hospitals are better than others, but then again it depends on the population it serves. That hospital probably serves a vast area including Sandy Spring.

I just find it really sad that they (Govt) will spend billions on a war, and a stadium, and other non-essential things but not on important things that really matter to the safety and well being of the nation.

If we deport all illegals there would not be a 4 hour wait. Nor would be have to waste tax dollars on bilingual signs.

I never had any problems with Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Springs or Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park. There are not too many Hospitals in that area and the population is growing with more people and building homes instead of putting the money where it is needed the most.

If you live in that area the only Hospital that is very close is Holy Cross Hospital or Washington Adventist Hospital. Montgomery General Hospital which is in Olney is too far for some of the residents.

I live in the District of Columbia and if I cannot get to Washington Hospital Center on North Captial Street I would rather make my way on the Maryland line before I go somewhere else and that will be Holy Cross or Washington Adventist Hospital because the two Hospital are very close to me.

My self and my family had good patient care at Holy Cross.

Here is a typical ignorant answer from someone who cannot even think hard enough to come up with an original idea. It's just easier to sniff at the problem and regurgitate the simplest, most hateful epithets, than to actually consider the issue, much less do something about it.

But let's all think a little harder than this slope-eyed son of a slave-catcher, shall we? Let's examine the meaning of "illegal" as this weasely cretin used it. Because there is a serious contradiction stated, that can only be resolved by speaking the most heinous racist xenophobia:

Are only "illegals" purveyors of bilingual signs? Are "illegals" only from Spanish-speaking countries? Best not to delve too deep into the minds of such nasty human beings, for the stench is truly noxious.

Sorry, you are wrong because the care that I experienced in the ER was good. Like I stated there are not too many Hospitals in that area but that one for the Silver Spring and Wheaton residents. Montgomery General Hospital is in Olney pass Aspen Hill, pass Bel Pre Road right by Phillip Drive. More people moved in the area over the recent years and homes are being built. Right now to me it is very cluttered in those areas right now. So therefore, it will be cluttered in some Hospitals. We are over crowded everywhere in the Washington Metro Area.

First of all I am very healthy and not on any medications. I was not saying that your experience was wrong I was only saying that I never had a problem. I am sure you agree that the area in Wheaton and Silver Springs is over crowded and not enough Hospitals which my cause a problem that some people will experience. Someone need to come up with a better solution for everyone to have a good experience.
