Children Injured After Truck, Bus Collide In Kenosha County

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department has reported that children have been injured in an accident Friday afternoon.

When are the cops going to start ticketing these idiot semi drivers? I haven't seen one pulled over in at least a decade, no matter how much they speed,tailgate or hog the left lanes. They should be ticketed and jailed for the shit they pull.

My husband was in an accident last week and was flown flight for life to Lutheran in Park Ridge.

The driver "didnt see him". His @#$kin neck is broke!!!

Now, I drive back and forth on 294 and watch the IDIOT TRUCKS AND IDIOT people race thru construction.

WTF is wrong with people???

Between merging and putting on makeup, to text messaging, to talking on cell phones to fiddling around with crap in the car......

I want to SLAP THESE PEOPLE!!

It's like getting into a car involves no responsibility. Like its a game and time to speed and jam to tunes in the car.

AND it's not just younger drivers, I see adults doing this. I've been taking notes for over a week now and I am going to go before Illinois legislature and make some SERIOUS POINTS and demand stronger laws!!

When you take your eyes off the ROAD FOR ONE SECOND, you can cause an accident! But wait, it will never happen to you right? You are such a good driver, you can multitask behind the wheel.

NEWS FLASH!! YOU CAN'T!!

In the one split second you are not paying attention, you can alter the life of another human being FOREVER!!

And it's not just their life, it's all who love that person and have to care for them FOREVER 24/7/365.

Please read this with an open mind and take care when you get into your car!

Just take it slow because you cant fight traffic, that text message you just received can wait, your makeup looks fine, don't look for the pen you just dropped because you can find it later.

Sorry to hear about your husband. You are absolutely right about the drivers on the roads, especially through construction zones. These people just don't get it. And Bush increasing the time semi drivers can be behind the wheel certianly didn't help.

I think that maybe you should get to know some of these drivers before you start making unresearched accusations... I have worked with semi-drivers for the past two years and most of them are among the best and hardest working people I know.. Just because their line of work is more scrutinized because it is more in the public eye... doesnt mean that they should be punished... why dont people worry more about drunk driving and conditions that happen far more often and have more fatalities each year then picking on semi-drivers... Just a thought.
