I heard that this year they will have less rides and more gambling booths because that is where the club makes their money.

I never let my child go due to the facts of I dont want my child learning that going to bars are fun, gambling is okay, and yes; there are way too many drunks there and not enough cops.

I agree that there are too many drunks and a big fight breaks out every year. They usually have a couple of 'rent-a-cops' on hand but no one respects their presence and no one is afraid of them. The rides usually look as if they were put together shoddy and they are operated by a bunch of creepy guys who are drunk too! They are always drinking alcohol out of their own cups! Also the ride tickets are too expensive!

I gotta say, the Bar at the Vets is nice, but lately they have attracted a rough crowd. last month someone got stabbed there. It was in the Newspaper. They need to keep riff raff out by adhering to the rule:
"If you start a fight in there YOU DONT COME BACK!" I even saw chicks fighting in there one night! |

Well it's over for this year. I stopped by on Fri.
They really did not have many rides this year. The game booths sucked! It was mostly people standing around talking and drinking beer. What did everyone else think? I ask because I am sending the link to this page to a Vets office holder so that they can get some feedback and know what to do or not do next year when planning the carnival. |

I think I won cake from a raffle ticket that I bought. I don't know who made it or put their hands in it. YUCK. I'd prefer to win money.

that bar is for white trash only, the bar tenders are always handing out free beers to there friends, i was in there last week and the bar tender lisa was taking dollars for mix drinks and putting them in her tip jar at least she could have gave the vets .50 cent
