I am glad to see that Dave Wilder, a non Village resident of Silver Creek managed to get his last minute mud slinging into Saturdays newspaper. I have to say, I am proud of him, stirring the political pot and turning candidates against each other, I know lets do it Daves way, "Lets have a dirty election." For the first time in several years, the Village of Silver Creek political parties both put up qualified and competent candidates for election. It is too bad the only way Dave thinks his candidates can win is by degrading the opposing political party. Nice Work, Mr. Wilder. Since we're on the subject of your article, you speak of Silver Creek having millions of dollars of debt, since you twisted it to make your article sound like Silver Creek is broke, why not tell the real reason, "bonding for previous water line projects." Since Dave is such a financial wizard and took care of his district as a legislator, why is the County in worse financial woes than the Village?

Wow, Mr. Wilder! Violate a persons rights. Last time I checked, you had the constitutional right to vote in the United States for anyone you wanted. And, since you pay taxes and own property you can place any political sign you want on your property. Could it be the highway superintendent doesnt want to go shovel one of Dave's candidates sidewalk AGAIN for the next two years!

It shows just how classless Dave is. Davey must be scared team fossil will loose! Hey Dave, maybe you could try the race card. Its the only one you didn't use in you article!
Also see Dave forgot to say anything about the chief's office being in A.F.'s house. Must be that's ok.

These posts are right to the point.Wilder sticks his nose in where it doesn't belong.By the way he did such a great job as a county legislator,I think not.Stay in the town and keep your opinions out of village politics.I think you'll see dirty politics has no place in elections. You smear people who put time and effort into their jobs..By the way freedom of speech and is a basic principle afforded to all individuals not just you.
