Hello! A jury of his peers found the defendant guilty of the charges filed against him. He obviously could not be charged with murder because the victim was killed during a fist fight between the two men.

What's a shame, I believe, is that the fight got to the point where a knife and a club were used to settle the dispute forever -- one person is dead and the other is going to spend many years behind bars. How unfortunate for the victim, the defendant, and both their families.

I'm his uncle....! Unfortunately, Tim has had some rough times in his life, mostly brought on by the upbringing of his mother, who has alot to answer for. Hate to see this happen in my family, but it happens for some reason or another. He has a long time to think about his life and what he is going to do to change it. Will the time behind bars make him a worse person than he is now....probably so. Life on the inside is not easy....!!!

It is very unfortunate for all family members. But like i said before you can kill babies, kill adults and get away with it in silver city and do no REAL time or not time at all!!!

So its okay to blame Mr. Cusak's mother for his bad upbringing. He needs to be accountable for his actions.
JUSTICE SO UNFAIR

Yeah just another slap on the writst I agree, what a shame. Why weren't Tim's mother and sister charged with aiding and abeting? He was hiding out, makes you wonder Hmmm!!! But as far as I know some justice should be done somewhere. But again it probably wont happen. Well I'm sure we all hated to see this happen but no one can even begin to imagine how or what Jr's family has been thru. They lost a beloved son, father and grandfather with only his memories to cheerish.

I know Tim very well. Better than most, I think. And I don't like him. You don't have to blame the parent, but you do have to know that they can give a child a chance at becoming a productive adult as well as damage one so much they will never have a chance. His mother was a bad mother and Tim didn't have much of a chance.

But that doesn't make Tim being a bad person in his own right any less of a truth. A sad truth but one that will not change. Jail has never changed him before and won't now. He is a weak drug user and people user. He hurts people. He is scary and needs help as well as punishment. Since he will probably be released someday in the future, I hope he does get the help too. Until then, I rest easier knowing he is not walking around free.

A human life was taken for 20 dollars - this guy didn't even get a slap on the wrist in my opinion!

He killed his victim and covered it up the best he could - he'll be out in 3 years.

AWFUL!!! SHAMEFUL!!

what a terrible situation for both families - however, the killer will likely be out in 3 years....
