Wouldn't be consistent with the phony name / desire to keep my job. I'll make a big deal out of it when the news is released.

Watch the Health Council meeting on CATS, they made mention of some kind of plant opening in Deming and then something else (as well as the Border Patrol station)in Lordsburg. They are worried about where all these people will live.
As far as Freeport, if you applied, they are doing background checks and that takes awhile.

A background check for a former (laid-off) employee shouldn't be too tough to accomplish, I would think.
What are they waiting for?

Hate to rain on the parade BUT,(but means forget everything I just wrote), Only about 1/4th of the people applying for these jobs can pass the drug screening. Wal-mart has the same problem, local contractors have the same problem. Then you've got the lazy who don't want to work. It is interesting that people unemployment will stay unemployed for the duration of the benefit and then "miraculously" find a job when those benefits run out.
It is great that they are re-opening, I just hope that our local people are sober enough to take the jobs.

It doesn't matter if your a former employee or not. first, it's been 2 years since they worked there, a lot happens in 2 years.

Previously worked at a doctor's office in SC. If it rained, nobody showed up for their appointments. They all came the next day. Swear to GOD. In their new trucks and SUV's with their diamond earrings, fancy cell phones and medicaid cards. We keep calling these people dumb but I'm the one working 2 jobs.

I wonder if they will hire any local contractors this time. Last time Chino was open the only good business to be in Grant county was renting motel rooms for all the out of town contractors. They dont really tend to spend that much money locally, yes the bars are full everynight, but there pay checks go back to AZ, UT, NV to be spent by thier families.

We need local JOBS!!
