The faster you go the longer it takes to land because of gravity Taylor was going 76 mph over the hill she was airborne before she hit Hagan's car so don't try to say it is not her fault it is all her fault your either dumb or in denial if you think she's not but let GOD deal with her Ashley will get justice no matter what happens

Makes perfect sense to me, nice post. The faster you go the longer it takes to land, SHE WAS AIRBOURNE and you are right this was all of her fault, accident or not, she is to blame.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. I'm sure you've seen the highway patrol accident reconstruction pictures, you know what the truth is.

You know what Dawn, I am a friend of the Pyrtles. I can ASSURE you that Karen refused to look at the Highway Patrol report because there were very graphic pictures of Ashley in it. Randy didn’t take it either. They were told of what it said the night it happened and that is it! Yes, she has seen what you and everybody else have written and none of it has come from her. Apparently Working for Justice knows a lot more than you know. Karen has told me she doesn’t know who any of these are but they seem to know A LOT. Maybe somebody that works in the clerk’s office, who knows but it is NOT Karen! You have no idea how this is killing her and your comments toward her need to stop because WFJ and none of the others were written by her or anybody else in her family. If you only knew what is REALLY in her heart, you wouldn’t be making these accusations. She has lost her daughter! My gosh, how can you be so cruel???? She knows how everybody is hurting and I can honestly say she is a lot nicer about this than I would be! BTW, when she goes to bed, she prays for EVERYBODY and also prays that Ashley will somehow let her know that she is o.k. I wouldn't call that sleeping well at night...

YES it was her fault; please stop saying it was not. She was the only one charged!

Who are you to call anyone selfish or greedy? You don't even know me. The only reason you don’t know who I am is because I have a child that goes to school with and is friends with Taylor; otherwise I would gladly tell you who I am!! I have stated my opinions on here just as everyone else has. The difference is my information is factual. You people have come on here and ripped the Ropers apart and with what reason? What have they ever done to any of you? Todd has represented some of you. Some of you used to be friends with them. There is only one person I can think of that does not like Dawn and she's a big part of the reason why a lot of this gossipy crap got started about Taylor being drunk and she wasn't even in town!!! There are very few people that don't like Taylor; proof of that lies in the fact that she won senior class treasurer by a landslide!! My point is this, how dare you come on here and judge anyone! You have had no right nor have you had cause to say the mean and ugly things that have been said on here about Taylor. She made a bad decision, not unlike any of you. You talk smack like you have never done anything wrong. Half of you have been to the same parties and functions that Taylor has been to. Hmmmm, I wonder what was in your red cup????? Oh, and now Hagan and his family are being sued by the Pyrtles. Do you really think that’s because he’s innocent???

Right now she's the only one that's been charged, but since the Pore's have now been sued by the Pyrtles, don't be surprised if charges are filed against Hagan.

A few months ago the Ropers decided to have this site investigated. They were not surprised to see that one of the main bloggers on here is one of Siler City’s biggest trouble makers and gossipers. She just happens to have the same first name as Mrs. Pyrtle. Dawn has no reason to get on here and debate these rumors and lies from people who think they know everything because she already has every fact in front of her. I sometimes wonder why I have gone to such extremes to educate people on here about what the facts really are because a lot of you have already made your minds up to crucify Taylor. My sole purpose was to defend Taylor against the horrible, nasty things that were being said about her. Dawn, nor I, has ever said anything negative or derogatory about Karen Pyrtle. You can go back into any of my posts and see that. Never has any of this been intended to put any more pain on Karen Pyrtle than she already has to live with. That sure didn’t stop any of you from trying to bring on as much pain as you could towards the Ropers. Todd and Dawn have every right to defend their daughter, especially because Taylor was the only one that the prosecution has seen fit to go after. They were surprised that the Pyrtles didn’t look at how the accident occurred before letting the D.A. slam charges against Taylor that carry a mandatory prison sentence. Mark my words, watch and see now that the accident reconstruction report has been looked into a little closer, more charges will very well be brought out in time. Do you really think that the Ropers insurance would even consider paying half of the policy when Taylor was on her side of the road and DID NOT cause the collision? That is why the Pores are being sued.
Who on this blog site could know more than Todd and Dawn considering they have all the evidence in front of them? The only other people that have that same evidence are the Pyrtles and the attorneys involved. They have every interview and every accident reconstruction, along with the two anonymous letters that were written to the D.A.’s office trying to make Taylor look like a wild out of control teenager. Working for Justice has gotten many facts wrong, yet most of you seem to jump right on his or her side. Again, many of the things that were passed off by WFJ were part of the rumor mill and blantant lies.
The state highway report contained more than just pictures of Ashley. It also contained how the accident occurred. This was on a paper that shows Hagan was clearly on Taylor’s side of the road driving up the hill a good amount of yards before the intersection when the collision occurred. Taylor was completely in her lane, even at the point of impact. Now that the Pyrtles have taken the time to look at this and there is clear evidence that Hagan was the cause of the collision, they have sued the Pore’s as well. Taylor was not the driver that put Ashley’s life in danger. The highway patrol said it didn’t matter how fast Taylor was going; the accident would have never occurred if Hagan would have been in his own lane. The proof is now in the latest lawsuit.

Maybe it would be well worth the Pyrtles time to get a copy of the whole report excluding the horrible pictures of Ashley and the cars that were mangled up. Because what you are saying does NOT coincide with what they have been told. Also, there seems to be a lot of confidential information whether it is true or not, that should be kept confidential.
That seems like that is grounds for dismissal for somebody working in a legal dept. if they are revealing anything that should be kept between both parties, the DA and the lawyers. Also, the DA makes his/her own decision by the evidence given, along with the grand jury. Nobody on the outside can influence him/her one way or the other. I would leave all this legal stuff up to the lawyers, courts, etc. Quit making life harder for those who are already hurting.

you people must be in lala land.....Taylor WAS in Hagan's lane going 76 mph, WAS airborne 2 feet in the air......IF Hagan went straight, they would have hit head on and believe me NONE of those girls would be alive today, nor Hagan. By Hagan turning, unfortunately took the life of Ashley Pyrtle, a girl that had her head on straight, and saved the rest of the people in that collision! It amazes me that some of you still think it's o.k. to drink and drive, go 76 in a residential area, kill an innocent person and think Taylor has done no wrong....I'm sure if it was your child you wouldn't feel the same way as you do now! Nobody is saying Taylor is a monster. But what she did was wrong and anybody else who did the same thing would be charged also, or should be. You seem to be turning all this information you "somehow" get and manipulate people into seeing something that is not true. It would seem to me that the Roper's would be suing the Pore's, not the Pyrtles. What you are saying doesn't make any sense.

Both parties were given copies of everything at the last court appearance. It is a lengthy report and there is a lot to go through.

Why in the world would the Ropers sue anyone? You seem to forget that they were sued first. Now that there is evidence that Hagan was responsible for the collision, the Pore's are getting sued as well. BTW, you are behind the times...alcohol is not even an issue in this case anymore. All I can tell you is to be in court on the day all the evidence is presented.

I can see there is quite a bit of compassion on this thread. How can you be "at fault" and "not guilty"? I cant quite wrap my mind around that statement. You obviously have other things on your mind.

Everyone goes fast over that hill...but what i want to know is, where are people getting their information from saying that Taylor went over the hill twice? Because unless you were one of the girls in that car that night, your information is based on a he said she said...which does nothing
Ashley Wood stated that Taylor did and one of the neighbors also stated that who saw what went on that night

Exactly, countersuit, meaning they sued back someone that was suing them.

Taylor did not refuse a breathalyzer test. Todd asked them to do a blood test on top of the breathalyzer because there are faults with breathalyzer tests. She would have done both if the doctor had not already determined that she had not been drinking. Again, no longer an issue...

So let me get this straight, you obviously think you know who WFJ is, well u don't! You state that many of the statements made by Working for Justice, are part of a rumor mill and blatant lies? WRONG! It's the unbias opinion of someone who has seen the road that the collision happened at, lived in Siler City and road them many times and someone who looked at the facts at hand, and decided to state that point of view in this blog. SO you need to back off! Nothing I have said on this blog was RUMOR nor LIES, it is an opinion and some food for thought for OTHER people on this blog! Point of view just like yours, is not a lie or rumor! I feel that a 17 year old girl, who was at the Beach Music Festival earlier the same day with friends, who decided to take a thrill ride over one of the most dangerous hills in that town going 76 MPH in a 35/20 MPH zone, who also refused the breath alayzer SHOULD be punished. I also feel that the case was mis-handled from the get go, by the Siler City police, possibly b/c of the parties involved.

Please go to the Beach Music Festival Website and gather your own OPINION of someone who was just there hours before the death of Ashley!

http://www.trianglebeachphotos.com/tbmf_pics/...

So I am sorry to disappoint you but you really don't know who I am! I like to express my point of view, just as you do, so that may be the only thing we have in common but it doesn't make it a lie nor rumor!
