Does anyone know which construction company has the contract to build the new Orgill Distribution Center?

Just so you know about the new Orgill corporation, I want to pass some information along. All of the construction was contracted to companies outside the Sikeston area and many outside the state. Also, the city of Sikeston has agreed to waive all property taxes for somewhere around 10-12 years. Companies that purchase items from Orgill frequently use a tax number or are out of state buyers and are not required to pay local sales taxes. So there will be no tax benefit to the area at all that I can see. There will be new jobs, but Orgill is firing 160 employees at the Memphis office to move to Sikeston. Some of them may be able to transfer. It will be interesting to see what benefit we will actually achieve from this business. I hope it is a good one. My intention is not to make people mad, just make people think.
Thanks

orgill is wholesale only there will not be any sales tax at all but 160 new jobs to the area is great and these job will stay here a long time orgill is a very stable company and you have to offer tax breaks to any company that size to come in
