In the wake of the latest push for gun control by obama and senate democrats, they stated how extremely disappointed they were with the nra. And called its comments about putting guards in schools the most revolting tone death statement they ever heard.

Some interesting facts,, The school that obama and some democrats send there children to have 11 full time armed guards. Seems there kids sit under the protection guns provide. While the children of regular americans are sacrificed. By there own personial gun ban agenda.

It doesn't matter where it came from. The point is Obama's kids are protected, while mine aren't. I call BS!

Every child of every president gets SS protection.

Putting armed guards in schools is a jobs program and it can be paid for with an excise tax on firearms and munitions.

However, firearm enthusiasts whining about hypocrisy would not be in favor of the guards if they had to make ANY sacrifice to hire them.

So, yeah. There's hypocrisy all right.

i'm not sure what the answer is, i don't think a ban will work all that great. it has been tried and didn't stop the mass killings.

as far as a tax on guns and ammo, not that bad of ideal however why should gun owners be the only one to pay for the tax, i don't have kids in school but i still pay school tax, i don't drink and a good driver(never had wreck) but i still have to pay higher rates because other can't drive.

i don't own a AR, i have 1 gun that can take a 10 rd mag only , they don't make smaller mag or for that bigger so why should i pay a tax if you are just trying to get rid of the AR's and high cap mag.

and i agree with flash, if armed gaurds are good enough for our law makers why not others

How about an example of a mass murder by semi automatic rifle with high capacity clip while the assault weapons ban was in force?

Sure any presidents kids get secret service protection, but this school had this policy in effect long before obamas kids went there. And its not just for the presidents and senators kids. Gun ban hypocrite NBC host David Gregory sends his kids to this school as well. But uses his position to help push gun control,,,,and like the guest said before me thats bull shit!!!!!!!!!!

If they want to ban any kind of firearm let's see what our government has protecting them and ban them first--lead by example. Don't try to take anything from me your not going to give up!!

Thanks for the info.

I assume you know the difference between private and public schools. So, are you willing to raise taxes to pay for armed guards in public schools?

I think they get plenty of tax money now they just need to learn how to run a business and quit wasting so much.

So you want armed guards in schools but are unwilling to do anything toward that goal.

The govt has ran deficits for over 50 yrs and will continue to do so.

When firearm enthusiasts say it is not necessary to raise the revenue for a new program they pretend they are in favor of because the govt takes in enough money already then you know those firearm enthusiasts are liars. And hypocrites. They don't really care about guards in schools and would be fine if it never happened.

I kind of agree. I would rather ban all firearms with detachable clips than put armed guards in schools.

I remember before Gabby Gifford and the slaying in Arizona. The right-wing wack jobs lead by Sarah Palin were hollaring. Pick up your arms against big government. Then after the slaying they toned it down.
It seems to me these ppl doing these shootings are mentally ill white men. Lets just profile white men with guns. Just like we do with Arab men at airports. Like law enforcement does with black males. If your a white male with a mental illness. No gun.

How about a link from a news site that verifies this?

If the KKK took over the govt and made no move against firearms your average firearm enthusiast would not fight back.
