Christy Baker-Neal as his Boss. She knows exactly who she will beat. With Ole' Paul Boyd ..Lady Justice is not Blind and the scales are always tipped..I used to work in that office until I saw too much..He goes through a basket of cases..and picks the ones that will make News worthy Crap ..just to get his name in paper! True Story..I have known him ti call the paper....bfore they ever contact him. He wants to be a Judge someday..Never Gonna Happen! Christy has alot of Sikeston Supporters and more on the North End of the County ... they just are keeping quiet for now..He will be shocked..when his name is not listed as Procecutor any longer...Oh. My..Will any Law Firm Hire Him......NOT!

Ah, what short memories we all seem to have. Do we want a prosecutor who will show up in court sobor or not? That is one question. And do we want a prosecutor who can function in a trial setting or not, is another question. Why did she abandon the job the last time she had it? Ask someone who endured her last attempt at being a prosecuting attorney.

Are you suggesting he makes more money if he prosecutes more people? I didn't think the Prosecutor was paid that way. Isn't that a salaried position?

I did hear from someone who previously worked in that office that Paul Boyd files charges in every case that comes through his office. I'm told in many counties, the Prosecutors have a team that reviews the cases to see if they have merit before charges are filed.

If I am not mistaken, some Federal grant money to the counties (administered through the state) is based on the number of drug related convictions. U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE --> State Department of Public Safety --> County (source- various Missouri audits) This is one incentive to get as many related convictions as possible so the numbers are there when the grant money becomes available. Just sayin'...

Go ahead and dig into it and see. I know for certain, no one is innocent till proven guilty as it is supposed to be. Here you are guilty and you have to prove your innocence, even if you were not around at the time of the crime. Total miscarrige of justice.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Kezer. Who was the Scott County Prosecuter who allowed the case to go to the AG's office, because she was so useless in court during a trial. If she tries to use the lame excuse that she didn't think he was guilty, there are plenty of people around who know what really happened and how that case came to be prosecuted by the AG's crew.

Be Careful. Check how many cases Boyd has referred to the AG. This is done by PA s all over the state. Cristy always did what she thought was best. Which always depends on the case and work load of that particular county. Remember Christy never had the staff that Boyd enjoys.
